Absolutely spectacular and authentic latin cuisine that hits the spot. The ropa vieja bowl was cooked to absolute perfection, with every element of the bowl pulling its weight perfectly for what felt like an authentic home cooked meal. I highly recommend stopping here if for lunch or dinner if you want to have a delicious dining experience.

Food was outstanding! I had the cubano bowl of lechón asado and it was spectacular. The staff is super sweet and very attentive. I can honestly say the cortadito was way better than all the other one’s I’ve had in Miami. Will definitely return!

What an awesome find!!! We lived in Miami for a few years, so imagine our surprise as new residents in the area to pass a Cuban cafe on the way to a park! We came back on the way home and we were not disappointed. The cafe Cubano and the Cortadito were both excellent. The breakfast sandwich was good and the hot sauce on the table added nicely. we had an assortment of pastries (pastelito, tequeno, croquette, relleno) and they were all good. The prices were very reasonable as well. We will 100% be back here

Delicious vegan options! We had the vegan Cuban sandwich, empanadas (beefless), and beans and rice. The sandwich and empanadas were so good! Yummy! Nice little cafe, too.

Stopped by Cousins Cuban Cafe for lunch and was seriously impressed. The Cuban sandwich was the best I’ve had in a long time — perfectly pressed, crispy on the outside, and packed with flavor. The balance of pork, ham, pickles, mustard, and melted Swiss was spot on.
We also tried the croquettes, beef empanadas, and chicken empanadas. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. The croquettes were crispy on the outside and creamy inside, and both the beef and chicken empanadas were seasoned really well with a nice flaky crust.
If you’re craving authentic Cuban food, this place is absolutely worth a stop. I’ll definitely be back.

Pleasant surprise to find this in Black Mountain… Best Cuban food we’ve had since Key West. Honestly, the Cuban sandwich was probably on par with what we had down there.
Everything was tasty and authentic, the fried bananas were amazing, the atmosphere was really fun with great quiet Latin music.
The whole location had a very nice lighthearted Caribbean feel, do you like that kind of food you really couldn’t go wrong. It was a special treat!
