Came here for dinner on a Saturday night and it was absolutely incredible. We definitely recommend the cornmeal fried oysters, the crudo, the fried green tomatoes(!!!), the Wagyu croquettes, and DEFINITELY the duck confit. The soup of the day was also great, and the gumbo and fried flounder were okay.
The servers were very kind and professional. The noise level was very manageable so we could actually have a conversation.

Outstanding! Great fine dining place.
We sat on the patio, since we were traveling with our dog. It was a chilly evening, but the heaters were a huge help!
We started with the short ribs, not sure if we liked the meat, the crispy potato or the horseradish sauce the most! Ok, that was a lie, it was the horseradish, but all was amazing.
Then, for the actual dinner we both chose bavette and loved every bite of it. The fries were a tad too salty, but delicious anyway.
They were also very helpful marking what could be prepared gluten free, as well as what is cross-contaminated and what isn’t.

We came to Herbsaint for our two year anniversary and everything was absolutely phenomenal. From the moment we sat down, the service was exceptional. Brandon and Gregory were our servers, and they both made the evening feel very special.

They took the time to go over all of the specials and menu items in detail. Brandon was especially knowledgeable and described everything so accurately and professionally. The way he explained each dish made it easy to understand the flavors and ingredients, and you could tell he genuinely knew the menu inside and out. The soup of the day was a chili sweet potato soup, and it was described perfectly. Gregory was also wonderful, attentive, welcoming, and very professional throughout the entire meal.

The food itself was outstanding. Every dish felt thoughtfully prepared, and you can truly tell the kitchen cares about what they’re creating. There’s a level of passion and attention to detail that really stands out.

We would absolutely recommend this restaurant for a special occasion or simply an incredible dining experience. Everything from the service to the food exceeded expectations.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic Dinner at Herbsaint

We had dinner at Herbsaint on Thursday, January 15th, and it was an excellent experience all around. The restaurant has a lively, energetic atmosphere — a little loud at times, but very much in the spirit of New Orleans and never distracting from the meal.

The cocktails were outstanding, especially the martinis, which were perfectly cold and balanced. Every dish we tried was a hit. The arugula salad with chicken livers was rich, savory, and beautifully composed. The tuna tartare was bright and fresh, and the smoked salmon rillettes were silky and full of flavor.

A standout of the night was the house‑made spaghetti with guanciale and a farm‑fresh poached egg. The pasta had that ideal handmade texture, and the guanciale brought a deep, savory richness. When the poached egg was mixed in, it created a luxurious, velvety sauce that tied everything together — simple ingredients elevated with real finesse.

The Muscovy duck was cooked perfectly and full of flavor, and all the portions were very reasonable for our group of five. The pacing of the meal was spot‑on, with each course arriving at just the right moment.

Overall, Herbsaint delivered a memorable dinner with excellent food, great drinks, and thoughtful service. A wonderful spot that absolutely lives up to its reputation.

My G-d this place was good. Every. Single. Bite. We just kept going OMG THIS IS SO GOOD.

I kept forgetting to take pictures of the food before starting. I had the pasta with fried egg and bacon. My husband had the tuna sandwich. All phenomenal.

Okay I’m not usually one for reviews but this place deserves it. Everything from start to finish was absolutely amazing! My husband and I ate there to celebrate our honeymoon and right from the start they made us feel so at home and the food was out of this world! We can confidently say that it will go down as one of the best meals we have ever had. Not just because of the food, but the people and atmosphere as well! Thank you Herbsaint for a memorable and fantastic experience! We will be back!

Great place! The short rib was very tender and very small. The french onion soup was just ok. It lacked the depth and presentation that usually accompanies French onion soup. The mini apple pies were amazing!! Service was great!

I went to Herbsaint in New Orleans for a lunch date and sat at the bar which made the experience feel really personal. The drinks were creative and perfectly balanced, and the food was equally tasty. We had the duck leg confit and gumbo.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. It was a really fun, relaxed lunch, and I’d happily return for another date or to enjoy more of their cocktails.

Herbsaint: A Must-Visit in New Orleans!

One of the most delicious meals I’ve had in New Orleans hands down! Everything, and I mean everything, was absolutely incredible. From the craft cocktails to the perfectly cooked steak and dessert, every bite was bursting with flavor and made with care.

The service was immaculate, attentive without being overbearing, and the entire team made us feel so welcomed. The ambience was warm, lively, and inviting the kind of place that makes you want to linger just a little longer.

If you’re in New Orleans, Herbsaint is a 10/10 experience that truly captures the city’s culinary soul. Highly recommend! ✨

We were underwhelmed with the menu and food. There was nothing special about our meal. The pomergranet cosmopolitan was bitter, The rabbit lacked flavor and it only had apple slaw, it needed some type of Au Jus. Our spaghetti was supposed to have been a new spin on a carbonnara with a panko enrusted egg where the yoke was to run but it was hard boiled. My steak was cooked perfect and our salad was good. The service excellant but not compelled to back. I just do not see the draw?
