My husband wanted to visit while in the area , he remembers going many years ago and loved it. We got chicken wings , those were good nice and crispy. My husband and son ordered the chicken parm sub , sauce was lacking any flavor, The sub was lacking cutlets. My avellino sub was also lacking only had a few small pieces of chicken cutlet pieces throughout the sub . It was a sub filled with greens and slices of prosciutto on top. Best part was the rolls . Prices are good . But it was disappointing and won’t be returning.

Clean restaurant. Informative staff who made us make the right decision when looking at their menu for the first time. food was so fresh and delicious. In the picture was their chicken cutlet caprese sandwich. 100/10. We also got a slice of buff chicken pizza, which has a fantastic crust and an arancini which was STUFFED with delicious-ness. 10/10 would order again.

This was the worst food I’ve ever had! I literally threw up trying to eat this food. This food was not fresh and definitely frozen & microwaved. Do NOT go here. Pasta was so mushy and overcooked. Worst food experience ever!

Stopped in at Avelino’s randomly as we were driving by. I love Italian food and it looked enticing. It was 45 minutes until closing and it was suggested by staff that we take it to go since they were closing soon. Food was nicely packaged. Got back to the hotel and it was still hot. Portions were large enough for two people. I was disappointed as the pasta was average. Was hoping for more flavor for the price. Desserts were fabulous though.

I ordered from Avellino’s via DoorDash twice. The first time I got Ziti and De Parma Rollatini. It was near inedible, not sure if the eggplant had gone bad or what. Ziti was fine.
Today I decide maybe that was a fluke. So I ordered a meatball sub and Bruschetta à la Maria. The meatball sub was fine, though it lacked the hot peppers I asked for.
The Bruschetta à la Maria was just Bruschetta with no chicken. It was served on sub rolls which were stacked on top of each other in the container, causing the bottom of the bread to get soggy. Tastes good, but quality and failure to actually give me what I ordered is the issue.
I’m sure the service and quality is much better fresh and in store but I would not recommend ordering out from Avellino’s.

I’ve been a customer at this restaurant for 10 years and I do enjoy the food and prices.
However, the service can sometimes fall short.
For instance, today my dish was brought to my table, but the server removed it, stating it was incorrect due to a salad that someone else brought .
Someone had brought the salad, which I thought was a side dish, but my meal was taken away until another staff member returned with it and apologizing .
In summary, improved communication and customer service would enhance the experience, but overall, I highly recommend this place.

I am from out of town and love Italian food. I’ve been in a few times prior to grab a slice or a calzone. Food was pretty good, tonight I tried the shrimp Alfredo.. and I will say I was not impressed. It tasted like just heavy cream or half and half, there was no seasoning at all. I actually had to throw it in a pan and add some garlic to my dish to make it taste better as well as some Parmesan cheese. The shrimp was also over cooked super chewy. I will not be ordering another pasta dish like this from there. I recommend really only their pizza or calzone as that’s the only time I’ve had a good experience.

We just used Avellinos for catering at our company. 4 straight nights of dinner service. All went smooth. Food was good, they showed up on time and prepared. Douglass was professional, courteous and nice to talk too. We have a great experience. Highly recommended their catering for your corporate event.
