Moved to the suburbs last summer and have been desperately searching for a “go to” Mexican restaurant… found it in Ochoa’s! Chips and pico are amazing and the food was all around high quality and delicious. The surf and turf burrito bowl was a unique find that was SO GOOD! I don’t write reviews often, but I do when I’m overly impressed!

A friend told me to check this place out. Once you enter, there are no waiters. Order your food at the register and they bring it to your table. I had a couple of carne asada tacos as a test meal. The food is AMAZING! You won’t be disappointed. I’ve had great experiences ordering through Doordash and dining in. The staff is kind and friendly and the atmosphere is pretty chill.
I almost always get their burrito bowl (HIGHLY recommend), their quesabirria tacos are really good too. I wish I had pictures to share, but I honestly tear it up as soon as it’s in front of me.

I don’t usually go for anything overly fancy—the ground beef taco (Picadillo) is my go-to, and they do it perfectly. It’s simple, delicious, and very reasonably priced. One thing to note: it’s definitely best to dine in rather than taking it out to get that fresh-off-the-grill quality.
Also, a heads-up for others: they offer a cash discount, though you might get a bit of a ‘face’ when you pay that way. Still worth it for the quality and vibe!”

Overall, Ochoa’s was super good. I’ve been coming back here frequently and recommend it to everyone. The staff is super friendly and helpful when ordering food — which is amazing. The birria tacos always taste so good especially with the lime and hot pepper additions.

Simply AMAZING! Ochoa’s is easily one of the best Mexican restaurants in the area. We recently used them for catering (25 people), and everything exceeded our expectations.
Communication was top-notch, portions were huge, and the food was incredible. Guests couldn’t stop talking about the juicy chicken and steak, the homemade chips and salsas, and guacamole that could honestly be eaten by the spoonful.
Mr. Ochoa truly takes pride in his food — you can taste the love in every bite. Highly recommend for both dining in and catering!

Was craving Mexican so have this place a shot. I saw the one review complaining about the flavor and salsa consistency and now that I’ve tried it understand.
This is not cumin heavy texmex. This is closer to authenticate Mexican. I kinda got that hint when I was the only gringo in the place, until just as I was leaving. Lol
I found the skirt tacos to be excellent. Rice was good and refried beans very good. You get roja and (I think) tomatillo/avocado salsas as a condiment and both were excellent. Avocado slices and fresh lime made for a quite tasty meal.
