We sat down minutes before the gentleman next to us. He got his food first And ate before we even got our meal, not cooked properly sent back to bacon to get crispy because it was like rubber and somehow after Supposedly cooking it well done it actually came back more rubbery than when I left. I don’t even know how that’s possible. Won’t be coming back here again for sure. Wonder if it was a bad day not sure but but they’re at least we’re gracious about us not wanting our food.

The dining room is a basic neighborhood diner feel. The service was extremely attentive. I had the corned beef skillet. It is not typical breakfast meat, but it worked very well together. It would be “one of my spots” if I lived near it.

Always good, homemade food. Greek chicken salads are the best, only they need to use more feta cheese and beets. Pink dressing is one of a kind. Delicious!

I’ve been here numerous times, but today was the end of the line for me. I walked in to the sign saying, “please seat yourself.” Went in and sat down. I was even treated with a hello. My son and I sat down. We waited for a waitress to come give us menus and take our drink order. The restaurant wasn’t any more busy than usual. I watched as one of the waitresses cleaned up a table and looked to be going to grab menus. Nope, grabbing a wash cloth to finish cleaning. Then go back out and look like she would grab menus this time. Nope! She comes back and takes an order of two people sitting about three booths away. No communication no nothing. I sat there while two other waitresses dealt with someone at the counter. She looked at me several times and never said hold on one moment or anything. I won’t be back. Had they not noticed me, I would understand. They said hello and the waitress cleaning looked me straight in eyes at least three times.

My husband and I love this place when we are in Saint Clair camping every summer! Terrific people work here! The homemade food is delicious. We just love how friendly and welcoming the staff is. Definitely our favorite place to eat when we are in Michigan!
