From the moment we walked in, it felt incredibly homey, almost like stepping into a cozy corner of your own house. The service reflected that feeling perfectly, as everyone was warm, kind, and welcoming.
The tables were beautiful with a funky, charming vibe, and the view outside made the space feel even more inviting. The menu was broad and full of surprises, the kind where you could visit multiple times and still find something new to try.
I decided on the weekend breakfast sandwich, and once the food arrived, hunger almost overruled my instinct to take photos but the presentation was too good not to capture first.
I paired it with a simple vanilla latte, which was fantastic and topped with lovely latte art that I’ll always admire (and envy). What really stood out was how well the presentation matched the flavor something that’s surprisingly rare. With such a wide range of food, drinks, and salads, this is clearly not a one-time visit kind of place.
Unfortunately, I don’t live in Denver, but I’m very confident in saying this won’t be my last visit.
A little while ago I visited with a friend. I’m not American, and when I ordered a latte I wasn’t asked about the size or whether it was for here or to go. The American friend I was with was asked those questions.
It was a very busy time so maybe I should have specified the size and that it was for here myself. Still noticing a difference in how we were treated didn’t feel very good.
I understand that accents can sometimes be harder to catch during busy hours. I would just appreciate being asked the same questions and treated the same as other customers.
Again the coffee and food are wonderful!! I really do enjoy coming here
Understand that this place is very much doing third wave coffee – so it’s bright and acid-forward, versus the darker, chocolatey profile at places pulling more old school shots. That’s why you see folks complaining in the comments that it’s “sour” – that’s a feature, not a bug, and it’s how coffee tastes when you don’t roast the living hell out of it.
The food here is also very good – tried the breakfast burrito, pastries, even the fresh juice – all nice, balanced, and filling.
Plenty of seating, nice natural light and clean bathrooms.
Highly recommend.
