What a great spot. You guys got a new regular!!!
The mushroom and kataiffi phyllo started is simply mind blowing, continuously teasing and playing through textures and tastes.
The Kadhai paneer- last time I had something so authentic, well spiced was back in Delhi in 2021, before I moved to US.
The okra was my favourite vegetable dish because of the texture the chef managed to achieve.
Both the naan and kulcha were fluffy, incredibly light, well flavoured and with the right amount of butter!
Finally, the desssert- baked gulab jamun crème brûlées- outstanding for the lightness and smoothness of custard, not being overtly sweet and being a great way to end the meal.
Highly recommend and will definitely be back here
Hemant & Kanzi welcomed us and made us feel at home
Good ambience
Starters were great
Food was very tasty and portions were large (we packed leftovers in boxes)
Considering the occasion, Hemant arranged non alcoholic drinks for a toast
Topped up the evening with an excellent presentation of the dessert
Highly recommended place
We began with the pani puri, which was not only delicious but also a delightful experience. Served with mint water in a charming little teapot, it was interactive and fun, setting the stage for a meal full of creativity and thoughtfulness. The Char-Grilled Paneer Cheese Tikka followed and was a standout starter, perfectly balanced in flavor and texture, and beautifully presented.
Every dish we tried reflected both care and artistry, with flavors that were bold yet refined. The culinary creativity really shined through with the Baked Gulab Jamun Crème Brûlée, a dessert that flawlessly blended French technique with Indian tradition. It was rich, indulgent, and inventive: a true masterpiece that left us talking about it long after.
While we dined outdoors, a quick look inside revealed a space that was just as impressive, with its elegant and contemporary design adding to the restaurant’s charm.
Overall, aRoqa delivers not just a meal, but a thoughtful experience. With stellar service, inventive dishes, and a stylish setting, it’s an easy 5/5 recommendation.
The bar tender, Hemant, was nothing less than brilliant! He offered a detailed description of their wine menu and created phenomenal non-alcoholic drinks as well.
The ambiance is warm, inviting and they had a great choice of contemporary music. Also, for those who care- it is relatively quiet, which is hard to find in the city.
We plan to return often and are confident you will enjoy it was much as we did.
The food was excellent — beautifully presented and full of flavor — and the service throughout the night was warm, attentive, and professional. You can tell they genuinely care about their guests’ experience.
We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great night out in the city.
