Runza Restaurants Serving real food requires a real commitment. It all begins bright and early each morning. Instead of serving breakfast, we’re making homemade bread dough from scratch. We’re hand-slicing onions. We’re shredding lettuce for our salads. We’re stirring up homemade chili and fresh ground beef filling for Runza® Sandwiches. It’s a labor-intensive process that doesn’t let up until long after closing time. We know there are easier ways to do all this, but our commitment to doing things the right way is as real as our food, and that’s not something we’re going to change.

I usually love runza. I made a super easy order. I wanted burgers with no cheese. I ordered at 941pm I get home check my food its cheese on both burgers and cheese on chili. I tried calling. There phone is busy amd they are about to close. I dont understand whats happening to them in the recent years

Oh my gosh, this is the first time I’ve ever had German fast food, and it was absolutely delicious! But, to be honest, it was my husband’s food, and I just had a tiny taste of the onion ring and french fries. The sandwich was good too!

Runza is fantastic! I make sure to visit every time I am Nebraska. The Runza sandwiches are unique and unlike any other fast-food offering. The chili and cinnamon roll combo is also outstanding and a special regional treat. I highly recommend it if you’ve never tried it!
The staff at this location were quick, friendly, and professional. They seemed to be happy working there, a rarity for fast food these days. The interior was clean and inviting. If you are looking for a quick bite, this Runza is an excellent choice!

This Runza is on track. Staff is friendly and polite. The restraint is clean and the employees are focused on providing good service and not messing around. There is an older man that I see there in the evenings, I am not sure if he is a manager or not, but he is great. If everyone had his work ethic all places would be more enjoyable to visit. He is why we keep coming back. He must be teaching the younger generation a thing or 2 because all the employees I have had interactions with were on target with service.

We don’t eat fast food often but Runza is our go to when we do. We always bring our out of town friends and family to experience a Runza sandwhich and never disappoints.

I visited here for lunch around 3:45 pm on a Monday. There was only one person sitting and eating and one person in line ahead of us. There were several people working the front counter area and several in the kitchen.
However, most of the tables had crumbs on them and one even had a whole tray of trash. I had to wipe down a table we could sit at with a napkin. The tables must not have been wiped for hours, possibly since they opened for the day.
I got the runza with cheese. It looked like a piece of cheese was just shoved in there. Not melted at all. My onion rings were overcooked compared to someone else’s that was eating with me.
The young man working the register was very polite and had great customer service. When we were about to leave after being 30 minutes, he started to clean the lobby.
I have read other reviews and see cleanliness is a common trend at this location. The manager needs to work on this. It is a nice remodeled store but dirty tables are unacceptable.

Walk-in service closes early, but I was able to still use the drive-through. I just moved to Omaha, Nebraska and see these places everywhere. I asked the person manning the drive-through what was recommended. He said the number two. Which is a cheese Runza, soda, and I got frings as my side (combo of fries and onions). The fries were very good. The onion rings were a little bland, and they didn’t give me any ketchup. The Runza itself was delicious going down. Then I was immediately sick to my stomach and confined to the toilet for about 30 minutes.

After a ten hour work day, I decided to try Runza. I ordered a chicken strip meal. The fries and chicken strip were hard and dry. From now on I will be checking my orders before I leave the drive thru. This was so disappointing. Try at your own risk.
