We were greeted promptly, chips and salsa served immediately to our table. The chips were fresh and the salsa was delicious. We had the Mexican pizza and Arros Con Pollo. Good portion sizes, fresh and delicious.

San Jose in Sunset Hills was a total surprise—in the best way. The vibe is fun, colorful, and full of Frida Kahlo energy, but let’s talk about that skinny spicy margarita. I thought I was being “good.” I was not. That drink hit like a freight train with jalapeños. Delicious, refreshing, and almost had me napping in the parking lot afterward.
The patio was perfect for a sunny afternoon, and the service was lovely. This place knows how to do big drinks, bold flavors, and just enough spice to keep things interesting.
And for my fellow thrift queens—Savers is right across the street. So next time I’ll pair my tequila with a vintage score. ♀️
Would definitely go back. Probably after a light breakfast and a cleared afternoon calendar.

We waited over 25 minutes before someone came over to see if you would like something to eat or drink. The service is not good. The waitress never came to see if we want any more water or do we need anything? I asked her for napkins several times she never returned until over 20 minutes later She kept messing up the orders and had a slight attitude. I will never recommend this place. The chicken was very dry. The rice is very mushy. It was four friends of mine that went and they all complain how the food was not great. also, my friend ordered a sangria and it was warm when the guy brought it out i’m trying to figure out how do they got good reviews I would not recommend this place. The food was not good. Service is horrible.

This place was good. I got the fajitas and a large house margarita. The margarita wasn’t my favorite in the world. The fajitas were good, I loved the tortillas, reminds me of chevys lol.
The bar was cool, I wish we sat there. The atmosphere was busy, we were at a middle table so a lot of people walking around all the time. It was still fun. Our server was very nice, she was busy.

Food was a 10/10. Everything about it was absolutely fantastic.
The atmosphere could have been better with the benches and seats screwed in better and a bit more clean but that’s it!

The service was exceptional. I love that they have an outdoor patio. The ambiance was relaxing. I certainly did not feel rushed. The food was good but it did not blow me away. Certainly it’s good value for the portions of what you get. Excellent price points. I would definitely return and try it again.

Good, friendly, and attentive service. Food was a little lacking in flavor in some items and some of the food was just kind of off tasting and that would have been the fajitas. Chips and salsa were good. I did like that outside seating was available because the weather was nice.

Tamale was one of the best I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend the fried tacos. Wish the service had been better. Our waiter disappeared for quite some time, even though there were only a few other tables that night.

I get it was crowded…but I’ve been there when it was crowded before and still got good service. Not this time. Waited for a long time for our food only to find out it was given to the wrong table and we had to reorder! I almost left. We should have. Our food finally came out, not even hot. Our shrimp must have been sitting for 30 minutes because it was cold and it wasn’t supposed to be. Overcharged for cheese dip we didn’t have. Not even offered a discount or anything for have to wait an hour for food. A manager was in a table next to us having drinks with friends… really disappointed in this place. Won’t be return.

Great atmosphere!! Tons of seating, inside and out. Service is great! The carnitas are amazing and so is the sangria margarita! Give ‘em a try!
