I recently ordered from Chili’s South Indian Cuisine on November 11th at around 2 PM, and my experience was overall very positive. The food was tasty, fresh, and full of authentic flavor. Everything was packed neatly, and the service was fast

The prices are very reasonable for the quality and generous portions. I especially enjoyed the Poori with Potato Masala and the Masala Dosa, both were cooked perfectly and flavorful. The restaurant clearly takes care to maintain quality and consistency.

The only downside was that parking was a bit challenging to find, which made picking up the order slightly stressful. However, once parked, everything went smoothly, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Overall, Chili’s is a reliable spot for quick, flavorful South Indian food. Despite the minor inconvenience with parking, I’ll definitely be ordering again and would recommend it to anyone looking for fresh, well-prepared Indian cuisine.

When we entered the restaurant, it looked great and had a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. The food was okay — not extraordinary, just average. However, our experience ended on a very uncomfortable note. Before leaving, we spoke with a lady at the counter and paid our bill. But as we were walking out, our server — a young lady — stopped us in front of many other customers and asked if we had paid. It was embarrassing and made us feel very awkward. This situation could have been handled more politely and professionally. A quick check before approaching us like that would have been much more respectful.

I was shocked to open my takeout order and see the world’s tiniest portion of butter chicken. $20 for maybe 6oz of sauce and six small pieces of chicken. I legitimately thought I had forgotten something and went back to check.

I’ve put really good reviews on Yelp and want to extend my review on google. Everything is always delicious and I love the SPICE level.
When the owner had the market next door, I noticed the quality shifted a tad. It was good but it didn’t have the same kick as the restaurant. This is minor critique.
I was told the buffet will be coming back and I can’t wait. That is 5 stars and I’ve been coming to this buffet as early as 05. I think the pandemic really affected food cost and walk in traffic. The owner is always so nice and I really enjoy the atmosphere and ambiance.

Very good service. Somehow they always offer a rare type of friendliness that you don’t see much anymore; like you’re visiting an old friend’s home. Happy with my meal as well. A comforting, delicious curry. The rice cooked perfectly. Not too expensive. I recommend it.

Absolutely loved the food – authentic, flavorful, and reminded me of home. Easily the best I’ve had in the U.S in my experience so far. The owner who is also the chef was incredibly polite and welcoming, adding to a warm and memorable dining experience. Highly recommended Masala dosa, Vegetable Koftha Curry and Vada!
The chutney’s and sambar tasted exactly like back home in India. Everything is made fresh, so the wait time is totally worth it.

Food here is mediocre. Ambience is not stellar either. As such the food is an average american- indian offering. I have tried their food may be 5-6 times over the past ten years– they have kept the consistency on being ok, not great.

However, I do like their partial grocery store which functions within the restaurant itself. You get dosa batter, some frozen veggies including coconut and basic indian spices– I appreciate that U-dist has atleast a small place to shop for indian food/ ingredients.

Visited for dinner and ordered the veg thali and puttu with fish curry. The veg thali was bland — curries lacked flavor, sambhar was missing, and the dessert was overwhelmed by cinnamon. Puttu with fish curry was just okay, could use more punch. Buttermilk was the only highlight. Spent $54 — not worth the price.

When I shared my feedback, the person I believe to be the owner seemed quite defensive — she cut the conversation short after just one point, without taking in the full feedback.

Decent food l. We ordered Malabar parota and Malabar chicken curry and both were decent . We ordered dosa and veg pakora. Veg pakora was fine. Somehow they were rushing us to get out of the restaurant and that felt little odd. May be because of graduation weekend and you are in university campus area
