If you’re anywhere near Pinewood Tavern , you have to stop by this incredible spot. The burger was cooked to perfection — juicy, flavorful, and with the perfect balance of toppings. You can tell everything’s made with care and fresh ingredients.
Even better, it’s proudly woman-owned, and you can feel the heart and soul poured into both the food and the atmosphere. The staff was so welcoming and friendly!

We had medium rare steak, Pancho Burger and the Tavern Wings which was all amazing. Service was very good, they even made my wife a fresh cocktail because she found it too sweet for her liking. Atmosphere was good outside, parking lot view, but it was peaceful and the kids could move around.

My hope is that the owners will read this review, and take action to rectify the poor food quality and customer experience. My wife and I each ordered a hamburger, mine medium well, and hers well done. The burgers came out after 15 minutes, delivered by a food runner. My wife’s knife was not cleaned at all and had a piece of old lettuce stuck to it. Not a good start.
My burger was cooked fine however, my wife’s burger was very pink in the middle, and not edible. After about 5 minutes, our server finally came by to check on us. She quickly took the uncooked burger back to the kitchen and had it re-made which took another 15 minutes.
All the while, my wife sat there with absolutely nothing to eat. No surprise, she insisted that eat my burger while it was still hot. Uncomfortable!
In the end, no one from management came out to speak with us. However, we did receive a very quick half-hearted apology from our server.

Headed up north for a day visit. Stopped in for some lunch. Very cool place. Food was hot and tasty. Looks like a place that the locals probably hangout on the weekends. Going back to see what it’s like then. But definitely will stop in when we’re in town.
