I want to preface that the last time I went here, food and service was excellent. It was a little loud, but it’s expected. We went in today, Sunday (11/9/25), and saw one sign outside by the door, one on the window, and one inside on the wall saying “House Margarita $4.99.” We were excited and went inside. We sat down, got our chips and salsa, and then waited. 10 minutes go by. A table got sat behind us, and the server immediately took their drink order. We waited another 10 minutes, and the server finally came by to take our order. We ordered our drinks, my fiancé asked to confirm if the special was for the regular sized house margarita, and the server said yes. She came back to say the special doesn’t include the margarita. Came here for a quick lunch. Went to the restroom to wash my hands, no soap. Bathroom door is pretty disgusting. The waitress was very nice and attentive. She brought over a chips, salsa, and my water immediately. However the salsa tasted like spaghetti sauce and nothing like what salsa should taste like. I ordered the three shrimp tacos, Mexican style. These were by far the worst tacos I have ever had. I covered the second one in salsa to add some sort of flavor and by the third one I dug into it to see what was the issue and the shrimp appears like it may have been cooked yesterday. It was very rubbery and flavorless with chard flat portions on them. Nothing at all what shrimp should look like. I pointed this out to a different waitress who came to my table and no discount was given on my check. I will not be back to this restaurant.

The food here is great. I honestly have tasted traditional Mexican style food and honestly this location does not meet the traditional authentic taste. It’s Mexican food alright but it’s missing that authentic flavor. It’s more Americanized. Overall great place to eat, great place to spend time with family and friends. The drinks are ok too.

I used Uber Eats to order from this restaurant. I had a special request with regard to the pico de gallo in their burrito because I do not like onions. When I received the order, it was inedible as it was loaded with onions. I called and the employee who answered could barely speak English and unfortunately, I do not speak Spanish. I asked for a refund on the burrito only. I gave it a couple of days and called back. I called several days in row and finally the last employee I spoke with asked me if the manager could call me. I gave them my phone number and have been waiting for about a week. I know I won’t be getting a refund for the burrito. I also will not be ordering from this place again.

First of all, I would like to say that this restaurant desperately needs a facelift. The restaurant looks quite deteriorated from the inside. The area towards the bathrooms is filthy and clearly looks like if they give it no maintenance at all.
The Arrachera steak was very hard to shew and the fries were absolutely the worst I’ve ever had!
The Santa Fe chicken “Sauce” had a particular taste that left me worried hopefully I won’t get sick. I recently had exactly the same plate over at the Palencia, St Augustine restaurant, and I noticed that the portion here is smaller, and the preparation is not quite the same.
This is the second time that I come to this restaurant and both times I’ve been disappointed. Definitely not coming back to this particular restaurant.

I’ve been coming here for a few years now, but as soon as I saw this sign, I went to a different restaurant. This is a trashy sign to put on the front door.
If you don’t know what it means, you would think that maybe it’s just people off the street wanting to use it restroom. No, that’s not what this is. They are telling all of their delivery drivers (e.g. Doordash, UberEats, etc) that they are not allowed to use the bathroom or wash their hands. These are people doing a service for the restaurant and their customers and Salsas refuses to allow them basic human decency or simply to even wash their hands before handling your food order.
This is so disrespectful, and I will not ever be back until that sign is removed, and this policy is changed.
It’s a real shame because every single time I’ve ever been here, the restaurant was dead. I always go out of my way to support local businesses, but I will certainly go out of my way to not support terrible business practices. I hope you realize how much this is hurting your business. I noticed the sign over a month ago, but I’m only just now writing a review. Just think how many people see this sign and decide to not come into this restaurant because of it and never write a review about it. Be better.
Edit: the person who wrote the sign clearly got offended by my honesty and replied to this review. It’s obviously the same person, and they’re telling lies. I have WITNESSED you guys deny delivery drivers from using the restrooms. Why lie??? You have now lost my business entirely and I’m not taking down this review.

I ordered a veggie chimichanga and two kids’ portions of mac and cheese with fries through Uber Eats. Everything was okay except for the fries. I know that fries can get cold by the time they are delivered to me, but these fries were probably cooked who knows when, most likely this morning, and sent to my kids around 4 pm. This is really embarrassing what you serve under the kids’ menu. The fries were tough, definitely not freshly cooked.
Unfortunately, I don’t have the option to order from Salsa in Durbin where I always eat and have never had any problems.

I’ve been to this location a few times before. I decided to go here for dinner last week. Parking is a little difficult to find, being that it’s a shared parking lot. The bathrooms are always kept clean and presentable. The ambiance of this restaurant is just regular and nothing to brag about. I decided to order quac and chips as an appetizer. The quac was fresh and flavor. For the main dish, I decided to order the carnitas plate. The meat was well marinated and flavoful. I had it salsa verde on it. That green sauce is very spicy, and it will catch up to you. The servers here are a little slow in getting the food put out on time. I think I will try this location again soon.
