A very exquisite fine dining experience. Delicious steak specially prepared with a crust. Server was quite friendly & helpful. Pricy but worth it. My only complaint would be the water taste.

The size of the wine glass is comical. The rolls were nice and warm with a homemade butter spread with sea salt. The steak was surprisingly really good. Perfectly cooked with a peppercorn rub that gave it an amazing crust. I wasn’t a big fan of the carrot cake but it was a nice complement to my meal. If I’m ever back in Spokane this place will be on my list for sure.

This meal was amazing! From the moment I arrived for my table for one until I left it was delightful. Tonya was my server and did an excellent job. Walked me through the types of steaks and described them thoroughly which for someone who likes steaks still learned from and enjoyed.

The bone-in tenderloin was perfect and served “Oscar style” with asparagus, lump crab meat and bearnaise. The crust below was flavorful and amazing. I added some seared scallops which were divine in their roasted red pepper and lemon butter sauce. The sautéed buttered mushrooms in sherry were a great addition and even the rolls at the start were perfect. The “Churchill Reserve” Cabernet Sauvignon was a perfect compliment to this meal following a starter of Lagavulin 16. Heading to a show at the Fox with the flavors still there. Highly recommended! Yes it’s a bit pricey but entirely worth it.

Churchill’s Steakhouse delivers the kind of classic steakhouse experience you go out for when you want a real night out in Spokane. The steak is the star. Mine came out perfectly cooked—firm on the outside, tender and juicy inside, with deep, rich flavor and no toughness at all. You can tell they respect the meat. The sides hold their own too. The potatoes were hearty and well-seasoned, and the vegetables tasted fresh, not like an afterthought. Portions felt balanced—filling without being excessive.

Service stood out in a good way. Your server stays attentive without hovering, knows the menu well, and keeps things moving at the right pace. Drinks deserve a mention as well. Cocktails are well-made, the beer list covers solid options, and everything arrives exactly as it should. The ambiance leans upscale and traditional—dim lighting, comfortable seating, and a calm, polished feel that works for date nights or business dinners.

It’s not cheap, and while the quality justifies it, you’ll feel it if you’re watching your budget. Still, if you’re deciding whether Churchill’s is worth it for a special occasion or a serious steak craving, the answer is yes. You’re paying for consistency, service, and a steak done right.

Also, the wine selection was incredible!

I was told this place deserved a Michelin star and was the best steakhouse west of the Mississippi. Serving only a prime cut and no wagyu I knew they would be a tough sell.

I came in and sat at the bar. I ordered an old fashioned. Their “signature” old fashioned is made with makers. Even a 1 star dive bar makes them with makers. With a restaurant of this supposed caliber I expected a better quality of bourbon. They really messed up when they used crushed ice. Everyone knows a true old fashioned is made with a single cube of ice.

The crab cakes for an appetizer were good. Fishy for crab cakes but were good.

The ribeye I wouldn’t feed it to my dog. All the seasonings and flavor on the outside are burnt to a crisp. For a medium rare steak in a high end steakhouse, this is unacceptable to have the outside burnt like that. Completely lacked flavor.

For the price of $74 for a steak, I’ve had better steak at Applebees.

This is the most phenomenal restaurant! We had a party of 14. The service was the best I’ve ever experienced. Nice selection of cocktails, I recommend the Key Lime martini! Our server offered to do a steak presentation before placing our orders, making our choices easier. We ordered the seafood appetizers, everything was fresh and well prepared, the raw oysters were paired with an incredible sauce. The steaks were excellent, and were just as ordered. My sister in law ordered hers rare, she said it was the first place that ever got it right. Mine was medium rare, the perfect char and so tender. The steaks came with garlic mashed potatoes and the vegetables were snow peas. I substituted the asparagus which were cooked perfectly with just the right snap. Two of us shared a dessert, the Chocolate Sack with fresh berries, berry compote, mouse and pirouette cookies. So delicious and rich. Normally I would have taken photos of the meal, but only got the dessert (and the chandelier). I highly recommend dining here. The whole experience was incredible.

On top of everything my valet knew how to drive a stick! Haha

I am not stranger to fine dining, and simply put, this was one of the better dining experiences ive had in a pretty long time.

I had been recommended Churchill’s by a group of friends who had been there last year. They said it was very exclusive, so I made a reservation. The process of getting a table was very easy. They were moderately busy, but it was a non-issue.

I enjoyed the decor very much. It had a very rustic, “old-country” feel to it. Everything was varnished wood, and made me feel very welcome.

The obvious best part was the food. I began with a salad which was very good. I could tell they used fresh ingredients. But the reason I came was the steak, and I was very impressed. Simply put, it melted in my mouth. I asked for it rare, and it came out nearly blue-rare, but the taste was so rich, I overlooked it. Id also like to mention their extensive wine list and their very helpful waitstaff who was able to recommend a wine and scotch combination for my food that didn’t break the bank.

Overall, I had a very positive experience here. It was a little expensive, but you get extremely good value for your money. Id give Churchill’s 5 stars and recommend it to anybody in the Spokane area looking for an elegant meal.

Great place for a great diner. It’s kind of on the expensive side so don’t go there with a low budget. The staff is very friendly and helpful. It was a great experience and will do it again.
