Sonic always gives nostalgic excitement. When you pull up to the car place. I can still remember when they would roll around on skates!!!!
In my opinion, my honest review is the food here is TERRIBLE. It’s not just this location, It’s their food in general. ♀️

Sonic is a fast food place we like to go to. The idea of drive-in fast food is unique, and the food is premium. The young people who work here are mostly hospitable. We chose the drive-in more than the drive-thru. This time we chose the $6 All American Smasher meal with tater tots and a Diet Dr. Pepper with no ice for him, and 3-piece crispy tenders with sweet tea for me. More often than not, the wait times are pretty long, and a few customers left impatiently. I’m pretty patient, so I stayed. My 3 yo grandson thought Sonic is the hedgehog character. lol

The servers are great. Other than that, I don’t understand why the passengers don’t have a visible menu when you park in the carhop area. You can see the 2 drinks on the back of the menu board that they are currently pushing, but no visible menu in sight. The last 2 times we went there to eat, myself and my son didn’t get anything to eat because we couldn’t see a menu. Also, not impressed by the tiny ice cubes they fill the drink cups with. The only thing I ordered was a large Coke, but after 2 good draws off it, I was hitting the bottom. I pulled the lid off to find the cul was completely full of tiny ice cubes. I’m not really sure why we even go here at all. I guess if they posted the menu on the back of the menu boards it wouldn’t be too bad, at least I could order food and ask for light ice. It will be a good while before we go back.

I’ve tried the All American Smash Burger Meal at the Jennings, MO location, the Manchester location, and this one. This one is in 2nd place, They were fast enough, good food, good food temperature and great service from the friendly and charismatic cashier. I will stop by when I’m working in the area again. They are only 2nd place because the Jennings location meal was so flavorful I’ve become obsessed with this meal. I will get it everytime I see a Sonic

My food was not fresh! My guess would be at least a day old. Tater tots were cold and hard as if they had just been sitting out. Corn dog was hard but at least it was warm and tasted like it would really be good if it was fresh. Be sure to request fresh food if you visit this location!

3rd visit order was wrong. They seem too frazzled every time for me to bother getting it fixed. Which is odd since this last time had 3 customers total on the entire lot… Maybe I’ll try again in a year to see if the staff and/or training has improved.

Took 45 mins to get my order no idea 2hat is going on if they are understaffed I wanted a quick bite to eat before heading to my brother in laws wedding but instead I got a messed up order and a 45 min wait. They need to figure out their issue or they WILL close. Edit had to get my order refunded as they skipped over my order and I was gonna be waiting even longer. They couldn’t even find the receipt in order to refund me. Smh.

The bacon double cheeseburger I got had almost nothing on it. In the past it had a lot of fresh lettuce and bacon with a thick slice of tomato. None of that was present today. I waited quite a while for a “fast food” place, which wouldn’t bother me if I got what I wanted. The guy who waited on me was really pleasant, so that isn’t my complaint. Overall I will be hesitant to return.
