Reviews
Customer feedback presents a mixed picture of the restaurant’s performance. On platforms like TripAdvisor, the establishment holds a rating of 3.5 out of 5 based on seven reviews, ranking it as the top restaurant among 18 in San Luis. Conversely, on Restaurantji, it has a rating of 2.9 out of 5 from 175 reviews, indicating varied customer experiences.
Positive reviews often highlight the quality of the food and the efficiency of the service. For instance, one reviewer mentioned, “It was great,” awarding 4 out of 5 stars for food, service, and atmosphere. Another customer appreciated the consistent service, stating that despite the restaurant’s busyness, the drive-thru service was quick.
However, several reviews point out areas needing improvement. Cleanliness has been a recurring concern, with patrons noting that tables often have food residue, and restrooms are not well-maintained. One customer observed that the restrooms had dirty toilet paper piled up and emphasized the need for the staff to dedicate more time to cleaning. Another reviewer reported that the bathroom was overflowing with urine and that employees were unresponsive to the issue, stating that they were too busy at the moment.
Order accuracy is another area of concern. Some customers have reported receiving incorrect orders, with one patron mentioning that their orders were never complete, often missing items. Another reviewer expressed frustration over receiving a cheeseburger without cheese and not being provided with ketchup, resulting in a bland meal.
Customer service experiences vary. While some patrons find the service satisfactory, others have encountered issues with staff behavior. A reviewer mentioned that the cashier and manager were rude, leading to a very bad service experience. Another customer felt rushed during the drive-thru ordering process and sensed that staff were more focused on impressing their manager than attending to customers properly.
In summary, the McDonald’s in San Luis, AZ, offers the standard menu and convenience expected from the franchise. However, customer experiences vary, with positive remarks about food quality and service efficiency contrasted by concerns regarding cleanliness, order accuracy, and customer service. Addressing these issues could enhance the overall dining experience for patrons.
The staff looked miserable and acted like they didn’t want to be there. No friendliness or professionalism at all. Very disappointing experience.
My last visit to this McDonald’s wasn’t really the best, but then again it really wasn’t the worst.
Yes the bathrooms did need a little bit of help especially around the sink area. And yes the dining room was extremely hot because they had the heater working full blast. The heater actually made the visit more comfortable of than anything else. But the customer service was actually very good.
I did manage to ask one of the employees about the parking situation and the main lot. And all they told me was “if there’s a space, you can park there.” I guess that means that this particular location, you can park anywhere there isn’t a vehicle! (See pictures)
I was a little surprised at the fact that not once did they speak to me in English nor did they ever greet anyone coming in through the door in English. Someone might say because of the fact that the city is on the border, the majority of the people coming in through the door only speak Spanish. But that isn’t the case in most other border cities. For example, San Ysidro. Everyone who comes in through that door is greeted both in English and Spanish. So why not this one? What I asked the assistant manager this question, all they did was shrug their shoulders.
The play area was a bit on the miss your side. Or else this review would have done four stars instead of 3. Overall The Experience really wasn’t bad.
