Really cheap food, great vibe, great milkshakes. No frills burgers. The chicken nuggets were really good! Service was exceptional, I wish I had her name but our server was extremely kind and attentive. Great place to share some cheap food with friends!

Awesome spot! Love the 50’s vibe and the burgers with the thin sliced onions cooked into it are absolutely delicious. We also had the Quebec style fries and they were so good. You can’t beat homemade fries. This place is doing everything right. The service was terrific too. We’ll definitely be back.

This place is a 10 out of 10 for me ! I sat at the counter and my waitress was super friendly . I love love love the fact that the grill is behind the counter and I can watch the food be cooked ( the cook is also wonderful ) my mushroom cheese burger was cooked to perfection, my gravy and cheese fries were top tier ( will be back for those alone ! ) . Prices were reasonably on the cheaper side . Very comfortable & clean . Will be back

Old fashioned hamburger joint in Central Falls that reminds me a lot of a NY system restaurant. Probably one of the best burgers I’ve had in Rhode Island, and it was cheap and quick on top of that. The service was great and the workers bantered with each other and me (part of why it reminded me of NY system) when I made some smart remarks. It is cash only, so be prepared. But you’ll also likely spend less than you would pretty much anywhere else, besides maybe some fast food places. Stanley’s is an RI classic, gotta try them out at least once!

Stitch and Stones

A Rhode Island staple since 1932 that has survived and surpassed the times while keeping the same quality, consistency, hospitality and taste. I tried to add a video but apparently I can’t. I guess you will just need to stop in to see the mesmerizing way their burgers are made!
Always brings me back to my childhood! Taste, quality, staff and owner are always accommodating and friendly. They offer great menu options…but my go-to is the mushroom cheeseburger & Quebec fries!
Stanley’s…an old school experience is where it’s at!

This is a covid 19 takeout review. All food is eaten fresh in the vehicle. This is an old place with a great vibe when you walk in. Super friendly woman on the phone and at the counter. I had chili, a bacon cheeseburger, and Quebec style fries. The chili was just OK. Lots of stock, just not lots of flavor. The burger was very good, no condiments required here. The fries were also very good. Great fries with great flavor. On a scale from 0-10 I would rate this 7.4.

Wow – I really like this cheeseburger! I love a place that has no fear of onions and pickles. Fries were pretty good. Service was fast and the price is really very good. We enjoy little places like this a lot. We will have to find ways to get back.
