So I travel a lot
And since I’ve been living in my camper van I know what good food is trust me
Murphy is a great little town to visit but I would probably take a pass on this pizza place
Pizza was okay
I’ve had pizza all over the United States and I just have to be honest it’s just okay I know people in town rated and rave and give it proudly a five-star but I’m just saying I’ve had much better
I have the cheese pizza and it was good but nothing to write home about
I also had I think the one that had some vegetables on it
And again it was okay but nothing to write home about
Ample cheese but not super a lot could have gotten a little more on some of the pizzas
Some of the toppings appeared a little dried out
I did love
Absolutely love the salad bar
When we were there they were also very diligent about changing out the food containers and keeping them fresh
There is an ample amount of lettuce
In the toppings were very generous they had
Boiled eggs pickled beets chickpeas onion tomato
And other various items which seemed all fresh
And very nice
The dressings came in huge containers and lots of varieties
I personally would choose the salad bar over the pizza any day
Again the pizza wasn’t bad
Obviously people like it
And everybody has a different palette
But I’ve had some outstanding Pizza in my time so I have a high standard

In this quiet little town of Murphy NC, this place hits on all levels! From the amazing art on the walls, old school / new school atmosphere and arcade ! I enjoyed their pizza buffet , which had it all. If you could dream a pizza up in your mind, they probably have it! I Also have to mention the dessert pizza. Apple crumble with creamy icing , Strawberry crumble and a Chocolate chip birthday cake pizza. They all were to die for and left this guy stuffed to the brim and extremely satisfied. I will definitely come back. This place hits on all cylinders!!! Thank you to all of the gracious staff.

We had our Staff Christmas Lunch catered by Downtown Pizza with their pastas, salads, and breadsticks. It was absolutely Amazing. The food was perfect. Liz Aquarian supplied nice decor to set up the luncheon. Just above and beyond. It was great and made things so easy for us. We will DEFINITELY use them in the future!!! Thank You for the Wonderful Food and Fabulous Service!!!

I have lived in murphy my whole life and have gone to Downtown Pizza countless times and 99% of the time it is absolutely amazing. From fresh delicious pizza, salad and breadsticks to an entertaining arcade. Downtown pizza is unlike any other place. People are friendly and food is delicious and won’t break the bank. My favorite to get here is the cinnamon roll pizza and cheese pizza with veggies, also can never go wrong with a pile of breadsticks and sauce.

Pizza is constantly changing and being put out which is nice and always fresh.
Gets busy at times but still never really had to wait.
Tons of parking along the side, and an arcade in the back.
Dough is made fresh and delicious bread sticks with sides of marinara sauce.

My daughter lives in Murphy NC it’s always our go to little family place we visit, the food is actually really good, I’ve never had bad service from anyone there they all are always so helpful. And for $20 of tokens or how ever little or much you would like to spend we always get at least a good 30 + minutes in there in the back game room. My daughter now wins as much as she can and then divides them throughout the # of kids there

For the past few years every time we go to Georgia from Florida for my sons medical. Its a way we end the trip on a good note. We have never had an issue and the staff has always been incredible asking if we need any different types of pizza . my kids love the games area and always leave with prizes they love. Loved this place. Just taking a drive through the mountains. Saw a sign in the side of the road. Decided to stop and check it out. So glad we did. The prices are great. The good pizza, salad, dessert pizza was all delicious. Employees were kind, easy to talk to and even took care of our to go order(best apple pizza ever) wonderfully. Would recommend this to anyone. Great place to stop with the family. Kitchen looked very clean. Dining area well kept up with. Restrooms very clean. Gaming area looked like a lot of fun, although we didn’t play this time, we will next time. Should definitely add it to your stops when traveling through the mountains of east tennessee and north Carolina.
