I ordered a burger with an extra patty, brisket and bacon. I also got some fries and chicken wings. The wings were amazing, the fries were nice too. Although I liked it, I the burger was beyond well done, so was the bacon. Part of it tasted burned and kind ruined the experience. I got there 1h before closing, I’m sure they were tired and this does not reflect their product, I will definitely try it again. The team was polite and very friendly.

Service was excellent! Food had amazing flavor! Very good! If asked what oil you want your fries cooked in, get the beef fat!

The food was delicious! The brisket burger was flavorful as well as fulfilling. Loved the sauce. Thank you to the waiter who asked about spice because the cheese sauce did have a little bite to it (was delicious just had some heat). Would also recommend the tacos (also on the spicy side but very tasty). Nice and relaxing on the upper deck area overlooking the river. Will definitely be going back to try the lemon grass chicken.

Do not pass this one up! Beer lovers, food lovers, having-a-good-time lovers… Go here! I was stunned by the flavors in every bite of food I had and in-love with their brews. What a fantastic place. And with a reasonable price! 100/10. Great!

This is one of our favorites whenever we visit Southbend. The place is very simple, no TV, no pretense. The beers are constantly good and the food is not your typical bar food. Some bowls, sandwiches and dishes that surprise. We like to sit at the bar and watch the river through the window behind the bar. The bartenders are always quite friendly. We were in town from CLE for my 70th birthday celebration and had a great lunch here. Particularly good were the pork rinds and pimento cheese. We had enough to take back to our hotel and enjoy during the super bowl. There is some outdoor seating which we have enjoyed as well. We have visited 6 or 7 times and will be back. Great find!

Parking lot was odd with the snow but nothing crazy, no booths all seated tables (high or low top). DTE brewery in a smaller, cozy space with BIG flavor! Husband and I came to South Bend to buy car parts on marketplace, and decided to stay to see the area and try a local grub spot. Glad we chose this place! So sad they were out of the gravy for the poutine – we assume it’s because it’s delicious, because my husband got just the tallow fries as a side and they were PHENOMENAL (so we were extra sad when we knew we were missing out!). Instead we settled on the Elote Hushpuppies as an app and those were delicious. Zesty, a little spicy with the picked fresno chiles, and filling. I got the Lemongrass Fried Chicken and chose the Brussels and pork belly as a side. They aren’t crispy fried sprouts (a fave of mine), but even cooked as they were, so much flavor and richness! The chicken was fried well and the lemongrass and umami definitely came through but wasn’t overwhelming. Husband got the kimchi burger. A little heat, lots of umami as well. The only thing we can share to improve was our hostess told us about several specials including an unlisted app, and when we asks the server about them he just said he didn’t know about the one we asked about (hostess said something about a hatch queso something) and instead of asking someone else he just kind of shrugged it off. Just a little awkward. But overall amazing experience and would recommend.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere and beer. Not much of a food menu but the smoked wings and the dry rub were amazing. Server was great and i will definitely recommend getting a sit on the outside patio because the view is so pretty.

An Awesome place to pass the time and get some good beer paired with some random eats as well. It’s a little bit nicer than your average bar food, with a more upscale feel. This is a gastro brewery with indoor and outdoor dining with some scenic views. They have a good size menu of beers which can be locally found, and their menu sometimes changes so if you’re a local, you can steadily find something new. The first time stopping by there was a bit of a wait so instead of standing around we ventured outside and did a quick little walk to see the greenery with beer in hand. We’ve sat at the bar and tables on different occasions, too cold for the outside, but you can still view some of the outside from the windows. The staff were friendly and fast and threw out some popular recommendations, which I love. The food was pretty good, hot, and had a lot of flavor, a nice variety of different things to consume. If you are a beer connoisseur, this would not be a bad place to start in South Bend.

We were bar hopping around Elkhart and saw this place on the map. The bar looked interesting and we like the name. From the outside it’s a great looking bar with a great logo. The inside is a bit sterile but very clean, and has great views of the river. The staff was friendly and helpful. The beer was good and the food was delicious, you have to make sure and try the wings they were fantastic! Overall a great spot for a couple of pints and a bit of food.
