Food was okay….I wouldn’t say it’s the best….the chicken was well done, the smoke flavour penetrated deep…but it lacked flavor. The flavour didn’t penetrate the meet. Rice was okay too…but they didn’t give me any pickles or salad for my order. Fries were also okay. Over all I would say the place has potential….just design a nice in-house dipping sauces to go with the grilled chicken. The portions are huge, which is good.

Ordered food there for the first time today! They messed up my whole order i ordered 2 platters when I show up there’s only one then the lady is gonna argue with me, Secondly I get home and there’s no chicken in my platter I call and explain im sorry the guy doesn’t speak English she hardly spoke English to so I explained to her well thay isn’t my issue if you can understand English, so she didnt even offer me the chicken so I said I will never step foot in there again and I am leaving an hinest review of how trashy the staff is

Put simply, the food was great. I ordered combos of pork ribs, chicken, and beef ribs. I can recommend all of them. Some of the cuts are hit or miss though. The rice and fries that come with the combo were great too, although it could be a bit greasy. Great protons, good prices. I would definitely come again.

Never disappointed, great place, awesome prices, always busy, be patient, but they move fast.I recommend half a chicken/ half ribs. Come with fries and yellow rice.abundant portions.finish with a espresso and a tres leches.very important: bring cash!! I don’t think they get credit/ debit cards.

Heard about this spot from JL Jupiter (YouTuber) & several people I know and I finally decided to go try it out. Drove from Harlem all the way to Newark hoping that it was worth the drive, gas and tolls.. and tbh, it was indeed worth the trip ! I could smell the bbq as soon as I parked. The staff was very nice and the food was served as per my pics. The wait time was about 20 minutes due to it being Mother’s Day, and it was crowded, but the staff got it done. Word of advice… the portions are IMPRESSIVE. I ordered two of the half ribs, half chicken with rice and fries.. and it was more than enough for 4-5 people ! The food…… was FANTASTIC !!!! Well cooked and nice bbq smoke. Not overdone with sauce to cover up the true flavors. As for pricing.. it is very reasonable for what you get. Don’t hesitate to stop by !

Excellent Portuguese style bbq the chicken tender and juicy. The pork ribs so good with the right amount of spices, flavorful and tender. The rice and the fries were ok. A good portion of food for $10 1/2 chicken 2 ribs with rice and French fries. Overall a very good experience definitely recommend
