I decided to try this restaurant with a friend because Costco offered discounted PF Chang’s gift cards. I enjoyed the upscale Asian atmosphere. On this occasion, they offered a special Valentine’s Day 5-course dinner for two. The first course was Chef’s choice which was a California roll and Sushi. I don’t eat raw fish, so I asked if I could substitute the Sushi with another California roll or something else. They would not do any substitutes at all, so I only ordered the California roll. I was hoping that the waitress would somehow provide some other courtesy item, but no. The second course was a choice of two soups. I ordered Hot & Sour and Wonton Soup. The Wonton Soup had shrimp in it, and I’m allergic to shrimp. I’ve never heard of Wonton Soup having shrimp, but the menu listed the ingredients, so it was my own fault for missing that. Course three had some nice choices; I enjoyed the BBQ Pork Ribs. I had the Miso Salmon with white rice for course four. It was delicious although a bit fishy. My friend ordered the Mongolian Beef; he said it was dry and didn’t finish it. Course five was dessert, The Great Wall of Chocolate; it was very big and rich. I felt that dinner was pricey, but overall, this was a good experience.

PF Chang’s was on my Veteran’s Day adventure for enjoying some great cuisine. Nani was the hostess that provided a friendly smile and welcoming attitude for seating. I asked her about the Chinese character on the wine glass which she answered with confidence. TK was the hostess that explained the lunch specials for honoring veterans. I ordered the hot & sour soup which was included with the Mongolian Beef plate. After a lengthy discussion about the additional carbs I chose the noodles. My choice of drink was a “blue dolphin”. TK also verified “cheers” on the wine glass. The soup was a cup of refreshing ingredients. The Mongolian Beef over noodles was authentic and delicious. Upon leaving I chatted with Amelia B. I was truly amazed with the atmosphere, food services and hospitality provided by her staff. Thank you PF Chang’s for recognizing and supporting the veteran community.

It has been a while since we dined at P.F. Chang’s. A few of the menu items had changed, such as the Dan Dan Noddles and the chili paste.
Chang’s Chicken Lettuce Wrap is still delicious.

We’ve been going to the Fresno location when we visited our son. They have great lunch specials. It is reasonable and and hits the spot. It is a beautiful restaurant and the food is fresh and it a step up from other Chinese restaurants definitely. It very nice if you want a more formal Chinese restaurant, especially for date night.

Today I had en excellent date with my wife. Terrence was our server and was so amazingly attentive. My drinks were refilled before I ran out, he gave me recommendations for food and was correct in suggesting a minor food change. We came hungry and devoured our food and it was delicious food.
