I have been to Jaipur mostly for their weekend buffet and their menu rarely changes — for appetisers, there’s always some chaat (chole, mostly), samosas, or harabhara kebabs with chicken kebab and prawns with salad. The mains are mostly jeera rice, lamb rogan josh, butter chicken, tandoori chicken, daal tadka, and a few other veg items. And for desserts, there’s mostly gulab jamun and custard/kheer. I think that’s what they do best— they don’t experiment with a lot of items and basically stick to their fixed menu with a few seasonal changes and that works for them.
Also, their ala carte menu is solid — I recommend the laal maas. All in all, the quality and taste makes it a bang for bucks good Indian buffet experience. 🙂
We were seated quickly. Good Ambience & interior decor had traditional India’s Jaipur vibes.
Staff was very attentive and I believe he was owner who came few times to our table and checked regarding the food and in case we need anything.
We tried their weekend buffet, Overall good spread in Non-veg options and food was delicious primarily if you like non-veg options its really good…Butter Chicken, Haryali Kabab, Amritsari fish. In Vegetarian options they had Vegetarian kababs, Paneer masala, Mutter Mushroom, Daal Makhani (Lentil), Sarson ka saag. Mango chutney also very delicious :-). We were served fresh naan (breads) every time. Overall food was authentic and delicious.
What I missed (and wished could be included within buffet) – bread options (Roti, or Garlic Naan), more vegetarian appetizers instead of just one appetizer and Garam Chai (Hot Tea).
Easy to find place and park, They have additional parking on the side. Overall we liked the place and will visit again with friends and family.
Servers were very nice and friendly. They constantly filled up our water, were nice to kids, and always on standby if we needed anything else. I give 5 star to service.
Overall, foods were a little bit too spicy for my three year old son timo eat. They certainly had some kicks, which was fine for adults but too much for little kids. Unfortunately, they didn’t have kids menu and my son could eat chicken tikka masala with garlic naan. We ordered garlic naan separately and the size was a bit smaller than what we typically see at other indian restaurants so we had to order another one. Mango Lassi was decent – not too sweet but very refreshing. 4 star for food.
Atmosphere is ok. The place looks old. Table and chairs are outdated but relatively clean.
Not a bad place to dine for adults, but not so many options to dine with kids. I wouldn’t mind going back here.
First of all, they had many dishes I had never seen before at buffets. In my experience, Indian buffets usually have a very standardized set of dishes with little variation. This restaurant had numerous unique dishes to try, including the catfish and corn mushroom dish, which were my favorites.
Second, the service was excellent. I am not expecting much in terms of service at buffets and would not hold it against them, but at this restaurant, waiters were checking on us regularly and refilling water whenever we were low.
Everything was delicious, but a couple knocks against were the lamb pieces had inconsistent texture. Some pieces were tender, but others were very tough. Also, the kulcha was not as soft as I would of liked, and their regular naan was much better. Overall, very good experience and worth the price. Would recommend!
Doubt I will go back, especially since there are many choices nearby.
