All the meals tasted so bland that it was like zero seasoning had been used. Salt didn’t really improve things. Waitress was slow and didn’t come back until we’d been out of drinks for a while, which was surprising since it didn’t seem that busy. Pretty typical diner atmosphere.

Not a regular, but went to breakfast with a large group including kids. Eggs Benedict and Bagels were amazing. Everything was efficient and affordable. We were in and out quickly despite having several in our party. The wait staff was working hard and friendly. Would definitely do it again.

I would consider this as an amazing long standing local family diner. Great service. Breakfast/brunch/lunch menu. We met family while visiting family in Buffalo and meeting more family from Rochester. Great meetup on between. Our table had stuff from French toast, to Buffalo chicken wrap, omelette, and I loved their beef on kimmelweck having just been to Buffalo and not having one. It was authentic and awesome and their au jus was amazing. Great visit. Everyone shared a piece of awesome blueberry cake to finish. Highly recommend. Off I-90 easy.

The breakfast was excellent, the service was perfect. Our waitress was attentive without being over bearing. It had a family atmosphere. We live 45 minutes away but we will gladly drive there for breakfast again and again. This place is a real jewel

Food was excellent. It came out incredibly fast! Small town meal in a nice little shop. Everyone seemed to know everyone else here. The waitress was nice, but disappeared mid-meal. Waited quite a while for the bill. Once we spoke up, another waitress stepped right in and got us our bill. We figure the first one hit the end of her shift and had a hot date. Would recommend for the homespun taste and wildly fast food to table time.

Food was great. Friendly and attentive staff. Super sad they have “The Stoner” marked off their menu now as that’s why I picked this restaurant from Google on our roadtrip.

Everyone I know that lives in the area raves about the food here but I’ve never had better than an average meal that always seemed overpriced. This last visit to meet a friend for breakfast was a little ridiculous though. I ordered coffee and the Country Benedict breakfast which consisted of the world’s thinnest biscuit topped with a sausage patty and eggs and covered with the bland-est canned “sausage” gravy. Total came to just shy of $20 before tip. The half & half on the table clearly says “keep refrigerated” and smelled spoiled when I opened it. When I politely pointed this out to the waitress and asked for some cold creamer she rolled her eyes and gave me attitude. I have yet to find a truly decent place to eat in Batavia for breakfast.

We came in on Saturday morning, to an absolutely packed restaurant! We expected a wait, due to it being so busy, but they were on the ball and we got our food fast and it was all freshly made! Everyone was extremely friendly and it was an overall pleasant experience.

Friendly staff with a bunch regulars make it a nice place to stop in to eat. The Turkey Club on 12 Grain Bread is very good.
Stopped in again and had the Settler’s Greek Souvlaki Breakfast. It’s very good! The staff was still friendly and helpful. I know I order my eggs cooked mush more than most everyone else likes them. The cook prepared them perfectly, thank you!
