I absolutely love their vegan sushi! I’ve brought three different groups of friends here, and every single person loved it. My top two rolls are Order First, Think Later and Death by Crunch — both are incredibly creamy, flavorful, and just so satisfying.
The vegan yakisoba noodles are also fantastic. The tofu is perfectly crisp (and that’s saying a lot because I don’t usually love tofu!). Everything is consistently delicious.
On top of the great food, the service is always warm and welcoming. Highly recommend!

The place is small. Went on a Friday night and was seated right away. It’s so tight in there that I was literally back to back with a guy at the table behind me. Ordered from the vegan menu. Food came out pretty quick. The vegan google it roll is incredible. Would definitely return again.

Both The environment and the food were very nice. The Tonkatsu came with a big portion, it’s good to share among two people.
The staff members were friendly.
Enjoyed dining here.

Solid sushi option open relatively late, with cheaper prices than places downtown. We ordered a handful of different rolls here, and generally they were all tasty. I was less of a fan of the more “loaded” rolls, and one that had a ground mix. Moreso preferred the basic fish ones like salmon avocado and the roll topped with raw fish.
Service was friendly and we did not feel rushed, despite arriving close to closing time.

During my last trip to Seattle, I had an unforgettable experience at this restaurant — the freshness and quality of the food left a lasting impression on me. So on this family trip, I knew I had to bring my sons here to share that same incredible experience.
Once again, the service from the owner and staff was absolutely top-notch, and the sushi and sashimi were some of the freshest and best I’ve ever had — truly unmatched anywhere else.
This place has become a must-visit for every Seattle trip. I will definitely be coming back again and again.

Amazing vegan sushi, not just vegetables but thoughtfully curated rolls! Their tuna is tomato based and meats are tofu so the roll was surprisingly refreshing and more delicious even than mock meats! They also have non vegan options which the rest of the people I came with really enjoyed and inside the seating is quite nice and well decorated. Our server was very kind and explained that ordering is done by the tablet at the table which was very convenient. Would definitely come back if in the area again!

Decent quality sushi, I liked salmon nigiri a lot but the rolls were just ok. Still looking for best sushi in Seattle

I freaking love kamakura! I come here constantly. It’s so delicious, consistent, and affordable. I love their tuna maki roll, tuna nigiri, salmon nigiri. The miso soup is divine. I tried their lychee cocktail today and it was fabulous. I would recommend getting wine by the bottle here if that’s your jam and you are picky. Great service and awesome cute space. They also give a free appetizer when you order +$30 on takeout. So happy I live down the street!

I judge new sushi adventures based on the agedashi tofu. This one was a flop – broth was not flavored with kombu and bonito. No grated ginger or bonito flakes. That always shows me how much attention to detail the kitchen has.
Rolls were ok. Overall the iPads on the tables took away from the ambiance, service was inattentive to the empty plates on the table when they brought out a big boat of sushi and basically threw the to-go container at us.
Basically I miss the vibe of the old place and the new place didn’t win me over.
Update: roommate and I both got upset stomach think it was the spicy tuna mix. Unfortunately won’t be going back here.

Placed an order through their website at 6:15 on a Monday night, it said pick-up in 15min. We arrived for pickup and our food wasn’t ready until 7:15p.
Food was ok, but feels like it was sitting for awhile before we got it, which doesn’t make sense since we were waiting to pickup and ate everything about 15min after receiving the bag. The crunch inari & agedash tofu was soggy. The vegan sushi had a lot of sauce and was pretty messy. The Jalaspicy roll was better than the Google it roll.
On a positive note we did receive the agedash tofu for free since we ordered directly through their website.
Overall, I don’t think we will return.
