I only gave one star for atmosphere because this isn’t one of those Mexican restaurants that doesn’t s fortune in decore. That said, it is very best and tidy, and still very pleasant atmosphere wise. We had the birra pizza and it was superb. Then there is the service, wire literally the BEST service I have received in a while. Thank you so much Cholula, it was such a very good experience. You know how to cook too. Good bless.

I grew up in Arizona and miss the tastes of home. Cholula satisfies that craving! The green and red sauces are *chef’s kiss* and not too spicy at all. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. We often order take out and the staff are so friendly, both on the phone and in person. Don’t be fooled by the modest location, this restaurant is a gem. We usually order a burrito to share and a plate of pollo con arroz for our child (which we also share, lol).

Fantastic tacos! Consume was great. It added the necessary salt, which means the meat wasnt overly salty itself.

I was so excited to try Huntington’s newest Mexican restaurant.
I was surprised to see the breakfast selection wasn’t a Mexican-style breakfast – it was definitely your typical diner-style breakfast. A couple of the dishes were American style breakfast with Mexican style protein like Chicken Poblano. It was a great blend! They don’t offer complimentary chips and salsa which is to be expected when they’re offering a higher quality salsa. The second time I visited the expanded their menu and were offering doordash and online ordering. The street tacos were FANTASTIC! I’ll be back, for sure.

First time visit to this restaurant and was really excited with high star rating. Hoping it was an authentic Mexican restaurant here in Huntington. Did not read previous reviews , just the 4.9* and was disappointed to discover ” sorry ,out of salsa.” What? A Mexican restaurant out of salsa! Heresy!No chips and no salsa. We are accustomed to that with top Mexican restaurants. Got our meal , a carne asada burrito. It was good , however I guess I was expecting rice and beans on plate beside burrito. Another in our party got the tongue burrito and thought it was “ok” . We were expecting a competitive restaurant and was disappointed. Prices comparable to Mi Pueblo in Ft. Wayne, though not close. Sorry, really wanted it to be something special. What is seen in pictures is what you get! Good size, I guess. Would probably go to Taco Bell next time,more for less and still good.

I would put my life on the line for this place. It is a special little corner of downtown Huntington that serves wonderful Mexican food matched by gracious and kind staff. Daisy and her father (along with their other family members) are the stars of the show as they cultivate an atmosphere that makes it feel like you’re coming home to delicious, handmade meals – seriously, it’s the first restaurant in a very long time we’ve visited where I felt appreciated as a customer
They will remember that you particularly love their salsa, they will remember your fiancé’s brother was in with his wife, they’ll remember what you had last time… just an all around wonderful spot

Good food and great service! The waitresses are very friendly and the food is fantastic! Me and my wife got the Birria Pizza and steak quesadilla. My only critique is that the Birria pizza was pretty skinny and didn’t have much meat in it compared to what I get from our normal two Mexican restaurants.
