Always delicious seafood at Brigantine and the Escondido location is just as good! Great ocean ambiance that makes you feel like you’re in Jacques Cousteau’s living room. We enjoyed the oysters on the half shell, parmesan crusted sand fabs, and crab stuffed tiger shrimp. Nice beer and alcohol selection. Multiple spacious dog friendly patios. Excellent, friendly, and accommodating service. Recommend!

Nice seafood restaurant. Great serving staff, and atmosphere. Steaks cooked perfectly, and the best Swordfish I’ve had. The calamari is also excellent

Brigantine Restaurant in Escondido offers a truly delightful experience. The atmosphere is wonderful, creating a welcoming and enjoyable setting for any occasion. We were very impressed with the quality of the food; each dish was flavorful and well-prepared.
They also have a notable happy hour that runs until 6 pm. The $7 small plates offer excellent value and a fantastic opportunity to try a variety of their delicious items. Whether you’re planning a full meal or just want to unwind with some tasty bites and drinks, Brigantine in Escondido is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

We really like sitting at the bar during happy hour. Jenni took excellent care of us and recommended several things which we ordered and loved. Great atmosphere. There’s a good buzz going on here.

Delicious start to finish! Their fondue is a must try menu item. Everything was delectable and filling. The atmosphere was very pleasant and our server Anne did an amazing job. We were served quickly with no wait times. We were taken care of the whole night and had a very good experience! Always recommend this place to everyone.

We went on Taco Tuesday, I had a calamari taco ( something I have never seen in Mexico) and a skirt steak taco. Both were quite good (and huge!), and my friend’s fish taco also looked very good.

Lovely atmosphere, terrific service, and an amazing menu. How do they offer upscale dining at these prices? This is a new favorite restaurant.

We love the Brigantine. First time for us at the Escondido location. Service was fantastic. I had the lobster tacos, which cane with beans, carrots and a side of fries. Best thing on the plate were the vegetable. Just perfectly prepared. Loved them. Fries were a bit soggy (fries should be crispy, right?). The tacos were passable with a lot of great veggies in them. Lobster was a bit chewy. My wife had the oysters which were great, as was the crab cake. Overall, good experience with some improvements that could be made.

1st time here, but not the last. Started with clam chowder and artichoke fritters. Clam chowder lacked clams and had a strong bacon taste. Fritters and sauce were delicious. Had cioppino and the broth was delicious along with a decent amount of seafood. Only disappointment was the lack of variety. It had clams, muscles, fish and shrimp. I can understand with it only being $19, but love when cioppino had calamari rings, scallops, crab, and octopus as well. Would be willing to spend more for a premium version. The garlic toast that was served along with was delicious as well. Service started a little slow, but picked up. Was not from a lack of hustle from the staff. Just understaffed at the beginning. Our server Luke T. was great. Look forward to going back and trying additional dishes.
