Sneaky awesome and I can’t believe I never heard of it before. Classic diner feel and view. Comfort : diner food at its best. They specialize in roast beef and it is excellent. Everything made to order. Fast service and friendly. I will definitely go back and it will perfect for cold days to warm up.

Went here for dinner for the very first time, and I must say for everyone who have never been here, try their hot roast beef sandwich! It was absolutely delicious, hot and tasty! Everything was smothered in smooth, delicious gravy, and you can even ask for extra gravy, too! My side were French fries, and they’re pretty good, too!

I also had their chocolate milkshake, which was super delicious as well. The cream on top was sweet and delectable. They even gave me the rest of my milkshake since it didn’t fit the glass. This is worth the price, folks!

The area was packed when we came for dinner so make sure you come early. Their parking space right across the street has plenty of space, so don’t worry about it.

The bathrooms, though, can be a little dirty, so be cautious.

Overall, the food here was excellent!

Cozy diner that is known for their hot beef and gravy sandwich. It lived up to the hype, it was very tasty, and the meat was very tender. My wife’s club sandwich was loaded with thick slices of meat. We were also shocked at how quickly the good came out.

Our first time. For a diner it’s very clean and well maintained. A nice change for area diners. We ordered the small roast beef sandwich and the roast beef dinner. The roast beef did not taste fresh. It tasted like a TV dinner. The mashed potatoes tasted instant and the gravy tasted canned. Seriously not impressed. Not sure what keeps people coming back. Maybe it’s the price.

I was really looking forward to trying this place. I saw the 4.6 Google rating and thought it’d be good. I ordered the hot roast beef, home fries, and coleslaw. I wasn’t super impressed. I will say that the gravy was great, the coleslaw was okay. The meat was tender, but it was very dry without the gravy. But the home fries, they were freaking diabolical. They were undercooked, almost like beef jerky in consistency, and tasted like a cast iron pan. Not great. Though I’m sure not everything on the menu would get such a poor rating.

This was our first and will be our last time we will eat here. We placed a breakfast order – 2 bacons egg and cheese sandwiches with sides of home fries, and 2 pieces of French toast. Total was $27 and some change, which we paid cash. Unfortunately, the bag was not checked before driving back home. We got 1 sandwich with home fries and 3 pieces of French toast.

We called and spoke with Nicole and got terrible customer service. We were argued with on the phone with what was ordered and what we should have received. Regardless if the order was taken incorrectly, we still did not receive the correct amount of food, especially not $27 worth of food. They never apologized, kept interrupting, and gave no solution when we asked if we could get reimbursed for the missing sandwich ($11). My husband and I both work in customer service and just couldn’t believe how poorly this was handled.

We ended up splitting the sandwich because we were hungry, but the home fries were very undercooked. We will continue to support local spots, but unfortunately not here.

Pretty nice little diner. I’d like to try more menu options. They have a nice parking lot across the street. The dining area is a fair size. Our server was really good and the food came fast and hot! The roast beef and the gravy were delicious! They had one unisex bathroom it was small but I give them huge props for having a changing table .

The atmosphere hits you as you walk through the door, like walking into grandma’s house. Everything we ordered was amazing and the service is what you would expect from a 3 generation family owned restaurant down home and welcoming. Would recommend highly to anyone near the Ambridge area visiting or just somewhere to get good food and great service!!
