Very disappointed TikTok made it seem like this is the best thing in the neighborhood. I paid $36 for black rice and fried turkey, griot and white rice.
The griot had around 15 pieces and 10 of them were nothing but fat with no meat on them and the rest were hard. The fried turkey was overcooked kind of tastes like it was sitting there for a while and they refried it. the black rice was hard and dry with no flavor at all.

I’m not too excited about paying $18 for fresh Griot accompanied by day-old rice. I must have received the leftover rice from the day before. And I know rice!! I also noticed that the portion has gotten a little smaller. It’s definitely not the same portion as the photo of a previous reviewer posted. If I’m going to spend my hard-earned $18+ here, I expect everything to be fresh as usual. And please cover up your bucket of pikliz so, the insects that I saw flying around it, don’t end up in it. Other than that, when they’re serving 100% fresh everything with the deserving portions, then $18+ is worth spending at Sel Delon Caribbean.

I visited this location yesterday. The owner is very professional with stellar customer service. The food is fresh, delicious, and top notch authentic Haitian food. The people here are great. The restaurant has an awesome vibe. Very proud of this business owner.
