Food is sub par. Service is great. Drinks were pretty good. I would come back.. But food needs improvement. Use better cheese. Rice lacks salt. Good selection of draft.

Really upset with how they acted when I was there for a family dinner, we had to wait for 2 more people in our party so we ordered drinks and appetizer’s before they came to pass time since we were already seated. The manager came over multiple times asking if we were ready even after we let him know we were waiting for a couple people still. As soon as the other 2 got there the manager came over and immediately asked “are yall ready to order”. He acted like it was an inconvenience we took so long to order but we were having a good time visiting with family we don’t get to see all the time. We ordered our main meal and more drinks our drinks took about 20 mins to get, mind you they where not that busy. The food was good other then they only gave me 1 taco on the corn tortilla that I asked for and the other 2 took 15 mins to get out to me an they were on flour tortillas. They kept coming back once we all had out food and asking if we were ready for the check when we only just got our food and still eating. We have gone here before for family dinner and it was the same thing, it isn’t very welcoming behavior. It’s really upsetting that it keeps happening when we have to pay quite a lot to eat out with a larger group sometimes and we heard good things about this place. The pushy service , food and rude management made for a very bad experience it’s pretty upsetting.

This place surprised me. Great food, great atmosphere, and the staff is amazing. They are very eager to help you and can absolutely guide you through finding new tequilas they have to offer. A great find in the little town of Caledonia for sure!

I had the Arriero lunch fajitas which had chicken, steak, and shrimp. It was perfect lunch size and delicious. 2nd time came for dinner. Still not disappointed.

Our food was cold and made wrong. The server seemed frustrated from the beginning becauAe we weren’t ready to order the moment we sat down. We were still charged full price despite sending all of our food back.
Edit: on our way out I let a manger know about our experience and they made it right by voiding our check and offering us new food to go. We declined the offer but we’re thankful for the refund.

The restaurant is enormous, there is a back side for all sorts of events. We’ve been to Real Arriero several times and our go-to has been the special dinner, it gives you a little bit of everything-taco, tamales, rice & beans…etc and it’s a good portion, so I definitely recommend that if you can’t make up your mind, the staff was really friendly as well!

Service was awsome and the margaritas were perfect. For dinner I got the Supreme Nachos, they were a big letdown. I think the tomato slice was in supposed to be diced? I ended up adding salsa that was on the side.
There was almost no cheese and the whole plate was covered in grease. Overall not a bad experience but I will order something different next time.

It’s such a great Mexican restaurant. It’s tough to see if you are not paying attention from the road, but it is well worth the stop in for some good food. Service is very fast. Everything was clean. The chips and salsa alone are worth the stop.
