The food was delicious! Atmosphere and service spot on! The bill was surprising. Did not expect my wife’s margarita which came in what appeared to be a 12oz mug to be $19.00 a piece even being top shelf. The beers were a little hefty at 9.25 even though it was a 22ox er. Will definitely go back just being more careful of price.

Our first visit at the Madison location. It was early. They weren’t busy. Service was great and the food was very good.

Hands down closest thing to heaven there is. I don’t know if they have Houdini or Doctor strange in the back but there is a wizard cooking these meals. It took them 1 minute 55 seconds to cook our meal, that’s faster than I could take a wizz and flush a toilet. They made a steak dinner that was sizzling on a plate, along with hot rice, beans, queso, quac, and sour cream, and fresh as heck. If my fiancé wouldn’t kill me, we would get married right here. Want to taste royalty, wait for nothing any longer than a king would, get service faster than AT&T or Verizon could offer, eat here.

“Step into Phil Sandoval’s and you’re immediately plunged into a space that’s a little dark, a little loud, and pulsing with a very specific kind of suburban energy. It’s the kind of room designed for the long game—sitting around with old friends over ‘Ritas and a mountain of chips, dissecting the day’s wreckage or mourning the one that got away. It’s a theater of nostalgia and salt.
The service here? It’s lightning. My waiter was a pro—fast, sharp, and moved with a sense of purpose that you usually only see in the great dining rooms of the world. He was a hawk for the refills, keeping the chips and the drinks flowing like he was on a mission to make sure no one at the table ever felt the sting of an empty glass.
I went for the most ‘basic’ play on the board: the chicken and rice. It arrived with large, honest strips of chicken that were seasoned with actual intent, paired with rice that was—mercifully—tasty and on point. But then, the queso. In a room this loud, the cheese dip was surprisingly quiet. Bland, really. A missed opportunity in a meal that was otherwise hitting the right notes.
You’re going to pay a premium here—the prices are a little steeper than you’d expect for the neighborhood—but you’re paying for the atmosphere and that high-speed hospitality. It’s a nice place, a vibrant place, even if it isn’t exactly my style.

I just had the best lunch here. I HIGHLY recommend the chicken fajitas and spicy salsa. The tortillas are made fresh to order and the food was very well cooked and seasoned.
Jesus was our server and he did an exceptional job!
The restaurant itself is beautiful and you can tell every part of it has been thoughtfully selected by the owners – including the different ceilings(!) in each section of the restaurant.
Thank you for a wonderful meal, I will definitely be back!

I have nothing bad to say. Drinks were very good and properly made (alcohol wise). Fresh made tortillas, great chips and salsa, a kind server, and all for an inexpensive price. I will be back every weekend!!

Our waitress was patient with us as we waited on a friend. The chips were great. Very light, airy, and crispy. I liked the salsa. A friend ordered the guacamole and it was very creamy and good. I got the chicken and rice. The chicken was grilled and there was plenty of queso on the chicken and rice. Would eat here again!

Service was fabulous and the ambiance as well.

Food for me was subpar…coming from Seattle its been difficult to find food that is the same quality.

Also having Mexican in laws and tasting authentic Mexican food doesn’t help me either. I have a picky pallete.

If you are like me…maybe give this place 3 tries without any expectations and see for yourself.

I ordered the poblano soup and shrimp tacos. It came with flour tortilla (not my preference) and lightly saucey shrimp….nothing on top. To me, very basic nothing special.

Love me some Phil’s. Personally think it’s better than Rosie’s and I’m sure glad they opened a spot out in Madison. They’ve got all the standard fare of the original, but unfortunately not he free ice cream. Talk about a HUGE oversight. Docking a star for this.

Since we have kods, we prefer the one in Huntsville for the free treat after a great meal, but this one still hits all the marks.

Management needs to get an ice cream machine out here too!

First time dining in the Madison location in over a year. Past experiences have been less than steller.
Decided to give it another try since it’s closer to where we live. Arrived around 6:40, given chips and salsa a minute after we set down. Then nothing for 10-15 minutes. Not asked for drink order. Nothing. Two other tables were seated around us and immediately given service. Left parking lot at 6:57 and drove to the Huntsville location. Made it there and given service in the same amount of time we waited at the Madison location. Side note: we made it town HWY 72 in under 10 minutes, all lights were green.

Food just arrived at our table at 7:19.
