We went to the restaurant for the first time with friends and family, and it happened to be around my daughter’s birthday. There was live German music, and inviting guests to blow the huge, long horn was both interesting and unique.

The staff was incredibly friendly, attentive, and welcoming, and they truly made our experience special. We had a wonderful time overall. While the food could be more flavorful for my personal taste, I understand that this reflects traditional German cuisine.

I would definitely recommend this place to anyone interested in tasting authentic German food, learning about German culture, dancing to live German music, and enjoying outstanding service.

It’s a very beautiful place and you can feel like you’re at home in Germany. You have big pretzels at the table hanging on a piece of metal and you have lots of huge side dishes. You can enjoy to pick from. You can try the edelweiss sampler which has beef, sausage, pork loin, red, cabbage, sauerkraut, breaded chicken, which is lightly breaded and very good btw, spaetzle which is flour and egg and milk and water that comes out like it’s small cut spaghetti pieces. The red cabbage and sauerkraut were very flavorful. The wait staff Jose was very nice and friendly. They have an outdoor beer garden for when the weather is nice and there is a free parking lot. The restaurant looks like a nice historic German home. Lovely cultural experience. Holiday dessert of coconut ice cream was very good!

We were pleased with our experience. Service was amazing, Renee knows the menu well and made the best recommendations. The pretzel and the German cake is a MUST. We were surprised how good the cream of carrot soup was. Plenty to eat and needed boxes to take leftovers home. We made the right choice to bring a piece of the German chocolate cake home with us. It’s the best we have ever had. I do not drink alcohol so I was pleased to hear they had a non alcoholic beer that wasn’t domestic. We live 2 hours away but we will be going back!!

Bread in our lentil soup. Didn’t see a lentil however. Liver dumpling awesome. Cabbage the best every. Potato pancakes floppy and about 3″big. I just prefer crispiness on them. Had edelweiss plate. Manager covered cost of plate because of bread tie. Didn’t even ask. That was nice.

I’ve lived in the neighborhood for years & have never been here up until today. Superior service, reasonable pricing, & DELICIOUS food! I highly recommend the Pretzel & Wurst Platter. You also can’t go wrong with the Wei Vitus beer. Renee was our server & she was so awesome! Great recommendations & the sweetest! We will definitely be returning!

I haven’t tried a lot of German food but now I will be because Edelweiss has convinced me! You can’t miss the restaurant! It’s got this German cottage look.

The Bavarian pretzel was sooo good! I’d come back for that alone! It was giant and the beer cheese was beering for sure! If you love beer cheese, then you’ve found your match!

We also did the sausage sampler. Not bad. I like the cheese knackwurst the most.

I also really enjoyed the live entertainment. The singers/musicians had a set list and they also came out and had people blow into a German horn and made a fun time out it. The decor definitely reminded me of tradition Germany.

For entrees, we did the edelweiss platter and hackbraten (German meatloaf).

If this is your first time here, then the idolize platter is definitely the way to go because you try a lot of their popular items and you get a lot of common German sides, too.

The hackbraten was played super nicely. The meatloaf was the star for sure and the gravy was a nice touch.

I don’t often leave reviews but I was SO surprised about this place. I live in the area and it’s been here all my life. I never cared to eat German food. I thought it wouldn’t come close to anything else I’ve eaten, despite everyone raving. My friends and I decided to go finally. After the first bite of the sausage platter I was obsessed. I had the best pretzel I’ve ever tasted. The beef noodles don’t look like it would be much (unfortunately I judged a book by its cover for too long) but the sauce’s flavor was INCREDIBLE. the beef was so soft. Everything was so flavorful yet not overwhelming.
The staff was so kind and welcoming. The live music was so fun! They used so many types of instruments and I even got to learn about some cool facts. Dinner and a show! PLEASE come here !

NEVER going back here. Very poor staff and management.
I stopped by this place on Saturday, January 10, 2026, for the first time in about two years. I just wanted to sit at the bar, have a beer, and order some food and leave.
The bartender was very difficult to hear—her voice was extremely low and the music was loud, so communication was already a problem. I ordered a beer and was given a menu. After about 10 minutes, when I was ready to order food, she came back and asked if I was staying or ordering. I told her I was about to order.
She then said a party of 16 people wanted to sit at the bar and asked if I was okay sitting by the bar and I said yes, I was fine. She walked away, came back, and suddenly told me that if I wanted to order food, I had to move to a table. I told her I preferred to stay at the bar. She then said she has no choice to close my tab and ask me to leave.
She brought me a bill for the beer — which I hadn’t even touched yet because I was still looking at the food menu. I explained that if they needed the bar for a large party, I should have been told before I ordered anything. I refused to pay for a drink I never even drank and left.
This was extremely unprofessional and poorly handled. The staff was not friendly, and there was no effort to take care of the customer I felt uncomfortable and disrespected by how I was treated. I don’t want to assume bad intentions, but the way the situation was handled was not appropriate. I will never return to this place.
