This breakfast spot offers a wonderfully relaxed and cozy vibe. The coffee and croissants are perfectly prepared, just the right balance to start the day. The highlight for me was Smoked Salmon Bagel, which was perfectly cooked and truly awakened my taste buds.
It’s just a few minutes’ walk from Brooke Beach, so after a satisfying meal, it’s the perfect spot to head over and enjoy some surfing or the beach vibe. Highly recommended!

I go here every-time I am in Laguna. Amazing food and coffee!!! They make one of the best gluten free muffins I’ve ever had. I love the view of the ocean on the patio while I’m eating. Amazing place!!!!

We love Heidelberg. I’ve been coming here for years and always enjoy the food and coffee. At times the service can feel like a lot is happening at once, but that’s honestly because they’re extremely busy most of the time. If you take a moment to chat, the staff are always friendly and happy to engage — they’re just juggling a lot.
The food is consistently great, the ambiance is incredible, and we love the location on Brook Street. We often grab breakfast here and take our coffee across the street to watch the waves, which never gets old. My favorite is the California omelette, but honestly, everything we’ve tried has been excellent — everyone we come with always loves their order.

Great food! Very well seasoned and it came out fast too! I had the vanilla latte, hott lightly sweetened, the seasoned omelet and blueberry buttermilk pancakes….. probably the best I ever had.

Cafe Heidelberg is the best breakfast spot my wife and I tried during a brief trip to Laguna Beach. She had a breakfast platter with house-made sausage, eggs, and fruit. The sausage was absolutely fantastic! I had the Eggs Heidelberg, which were also delicious! I thought the coffee was good, the price was right, and the patio view on a Saturday morning was very relaxing. Overall, I was impressed by the food, great atmosphere, and friendly staff. It’s definitely a great spot to go!

Fun spot with great views from inside or outside. The place has huge windows and great views of the ocean (one one side of the indoor seating). Food is delicious, and you can tell they use fresh and great ingredients. Lots of options, and they can customize your food as well.

We usually enjoy a good old fashioned american breakfast like eggs and sausage but they have an extensive menu to satisfy any appetite. Heidelberg is best of all the places we have been to offering comparable menus. Great and pleasant service making for a most enjoyable experience. We are now a regular customer. Highly recommend.

Everything about this place is fantastic. The food, the service, the seating and views. I liked it so much we came here twice during our 4 day trip. We initially went to different coffee shops every morning and this was my favorite.
I got a latte and it was amazing. I am on a strict Keto carnivore diet (minus the latte lol) so it’s hard to find healthy protein breakfasts and they had several good options. I got the eggs Benedict with avocado and spinach.
Service was very friendly and very fast.
Sweet potato fries are a bonus
My son is picky as well and he loved the sliders and fries.

I got the huevos rancheros and it was awesome, I loved the addition of mango in the pico de gallo. My husband got the Nordic eggs, and it was fantastic! Service was very quick. We dined out front, which had a partial view of the ocean but a lot of noise from the cars passing by. Great spot!

An awesome breakfast/brunch place! The employees are always welcoming and take the extra step to make the dining experience very enjoyable. They have the best grilled cheese and tomato soup ever! Amazing breakfast burrito as well! A great staple in Laguna Beach !
