I absolutely love the Penne alla Vodka — perfectly cooked pasta in a creamy, rich tomato vodka sauce that is indulgent without being heavy. The Margherita pizza is a classic done right with fresh mozzarella and basil, and the lobster ravioli is another standout. Their chicken parm is generous and comforting, and you cannot leave without trying the gelato and pastries — truly some of the best in Naples.
What really sets Cosmo’s apart is the atmosphere. It genuinely feels like the Cheers of Naples — where everybody knows your name and you’re greeted with a warm smile. Whether you’re dining with friends, family, or just stopping in, it’s always a pleasure.

When I asked about cross-contamination, the staff at the counter did not know what it meant and had to call someone else. The explanation I received did not sound confident, and it seemed like this was new information for them. For a place promoting vegan options, this was concerning.
The pizza arrived in a to-go box even though I was dining in. Eating from a large cardboard box at the table felt awkward and unnecessary.
The pizza itself had no vegan cheese. It was basically dough with tomato sauce, spinach, a few tomatoes, and some yellow pepper. For $26-27, this felt extremely underwhelming and overpriced.
I also noticed that staff were checking on other tables multiple times during service. No one checked on mine.
Overall, the pizza was eatable, but the experience did not match the price or the “true vegan style” claim.
Unfortunately, our experience last night was very different from what we’ve come to expect. We specifically requested that our food be prepared a certain way, but it was brought to the table incorrectly and did not reflect the instructions we gave when ordering. I ordered a small personal pizza of pepperoni and cheese and it came out just cheese. So our waiter recommended the gentleman that was bringing out our food to bring it back to the kitchen and put pepperoni on it. When the pizza came back out, there was just slices of pepperoni tossed on top of the cheese. When We tried to eat the pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni just fell right off of the pizza. It was not melted into the cheese. We also ordered a meal well done and crispy and toasty, and it came out not crispy not toasty just the cheese on top melted. This was frustrating, especially since we have never had this issue here before.
I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience. Not only was I overcharged, but the food was also prepared incorrectly and did not reflect the specific requests I made when ordering. I took the time to clearly explain how I wanted my meal, yet those instructions were ignored entirely. They charged me 19.99 for a side of spaghetti that I wanted on the side for my broccolirobin sausage. So my side of pasta and broccolirob and sausage came out to $30 which was more expensive than a seafood and spaghetti on their menu.
What made the situation worse was the service. Our server was rude, dismissive, and came across as very condescending when we tried to address the issues. Rather than attempting to fix the mistakes or show any level of concern, they were completely unaccommodating and made us feel like we were an inconvenience. We asked to speak with a manager but he was not any more professional.
Dining out should be an enjoyable experience, especially when you’re paying for both food and service. Unfortunately, this visit fell far below expectations in every way. I hope management takes customer feedback seriously and works to improve both the quality of the food preparation and the professionalism of the staff.
