This place is just a hidden gem. I’m writing this after eating here, straight two nights. I have explored a lot of places and this place just has “The best”, “THE BEST” onion rings. I love the milkshakes and fries as well. I would suggest this place over others if anyone loves burgers, onion rings, fries and milkshakes. They might have more good things too which I would try soon.

I tried Generals Headquarters recently. The food was okay, but not the best I’ve had. I got the Western Burger—it was alright, nothing special. The onion rings were burnt, which was a letdown. The staff seems to be mostly young, and some of them had a bit of an attitude, which made the experience less enjoyable. Overall, it’s decent if you’re nearby and hungry, but I wouldn’t go out of my way for it.

Both burgers were undercooked. I asked for the pastrami extra crispy and it looks like they barely threw it on the grill should’ve took the new sign on the window that says no refunds as a warning. And I say new sign because I used to go there before, and it was never there. It’s only a matter of time before they shut down.

This is probably my fifth time that I get take out from Generals and now it feels as if it has gotten worse. The first 3 times were great! Amazing staff and environment. As well as good food. But the last two times, it has been the worst. When I was pregnant, I called Generals to order take out. When the employee answered, she did not say “Thank you for calling Generals” or mention that I was calling Generals. All I got was a confused “hello” and when I asked if this was Generals, the employee said to me “Well, obviously.” I only asked if I was calling Generals, in case I dialed the incorrect number. After that, I did not say anything about it. I went on about my day thinking maybe I caught her in a bad mood and shrugged it off. This last time that I ordered from there, the food was awful. I had ordered a bacon avocado burger with a cherry Pepsi. Both tasted disgusting. My burger was all sloppy and soggy. It was very obvious of how lazy the burger done. The avocado was pure store bought, expired guacamole. My cherry Pepsi was nothing like an actual cherry Pepsi. It was pure cherry syrup. This will be the last time I ever go to Generals. After carols shutting down, I had expected more of this place but they became the worst!

This is a great place to dine in and take out for various types of foods. I had a Jr Burger as take out for lunch and the meal was too good that I couldn’t resist writing a review. Customer service is excellent. Highly recommend.

Came with the family for the first time to this location. The Monday night crew is awesome, friendly and super fast with the food orders. All good tasted delicious and fresh. Place is super cute and clean too. Will definitely be coming back again.

The food is good but customer service is not good, almost everyone doesn’t smile & they seem like they are in a bad mood often. I’m not sure if these great customer service reviews are fake because it’s always bad. We go once a week because we enjoy the food but they really need to hire more professional employees. Wish there was another good burger place to go to & I miss Carol’s.
