this pollo loco is a scam they gave me a side of guacamole w/ my quesadilla, it was straight up a piece of avacado, they didn’t event try smushing it just a bit so that it could be considered guacamole, and the lady that gave us our food didn’t wanna give us dressing cause “it came mixed inside with the salad,” we got home, ate it, and there was no dressing at all.

Okay, so several things happened on this visit . Just bought a family meal at this location a couple minutes ago and we came home to a not-so-appetizing sight. Parts of the chicken were cooked, however every single leg/thigh of chicken we had either had a blood stain or was not fully cooked all the way. After trying to pick out parts of the chicken that we liked, we were disgusted and gave up right away. Apart from that, our order was supposed to be ready at 9:30 and we arrived at around 9:45 and it still was not ready. Waited for a total of 10 minutes just waiting for an order that should have been ready. I am not one to come out here and complain, but my husband and I were extremely hungry and just couldn’t wait to get home and eat. So, by this happening to us, it was just not fair. Managers, I hope you will take this comment as not something to bring your business down, but something to improve your worker’s work ethic.

This afternoon, we visited Pollo Loco in South Gate on Tweedy, to purchase chicken and encountered subpar service. We endured an extended wait of approximately 20 minutes without any apparent reason. Additionally, the registers displayed a negative demeanor, which contributed to the overall unsatisfactory experience. Notably, Mrs. Monserrat conduct was particularly egregious including the rest of the staff. The service provided at this location was severely lacking.

I would expect Jack in the box to mess up my order but not Pollo Loco. Its sad people are illiterate. I ordered 2 strawberry lemonades one large and the other regular. Also ordered a regular coke that i never got..instead i just got 2 lemonades regular size. I was going to call and complain but i didnt see no point..

The constant menu updates are exactly what El Pollo Loco needed. I’ve tried so many more food options now that they are available. The enchiladas are decent addition and the tostada salads are my go to. This location used to have big issues but lately they are doing a great job. When stopping at a Pollo Loco don’t be afraid to try something new. Don’t forget your creamy cilantro dressing!
