This place used to be an Italian delight with delicious food the pizza one of the best in town. But I went back last month with my Auntie and a friend and I was appalled at the processed frozen pizza dough shreds of romaine for the antipasto salad and processed American cheese and cheezit the put in front of us. For the price it was absurd and embarrassing not only for me to bring family there but to the servers. Not sure if it was tje owner who I paid my bill to but he asked how was everything and I said it was a big disappointment. He did not have a response to let me explain so I paid and walked out never to go back again. Im sure if your reading this far please find another Italian restaurant in town this one has lost all its roots.

Loved the feeling of being in a mom’s living room waiting for a family meal. We had the cheesy bread and half orders of pasta and meatballs & the pasta and sausage. We also saw several others picking up to go orders. Great portion sizes, great flavors, can’t go wrong!

My husband and I love Lido’s! We moved to Lemon Grove 4 years ago and consider ourselves so lucky that we have this amazing local gem of an Italian restaurant right down the road. The food is consistently delicious and the service is fantastic. We have our usual order (spaghetti and meatball dinner for me and meat lasagna dinner for my husband, with a side of minestrone soup) that we rarely stray from. I could practically drink the salad dressing and have even considered buying it on its own just to have in the house. I love that this is a family run business that has been around since 1955. If that doesn’t speak volumes about how special of place this is, I don’t know what does. Thank you to the Lido’s crew!!

We were blown away. Italian is my wife’s fave food group and lasagna is her fave dish. Everything we ate was exceptional and set itself apart from everyone else. My wife ranked their lasagna as the 2nd best she’s had – she’s had 100s. I ordered the chicken a la Florentine only because I’d never seen it on anybody else’s menu. Absolutely mind-blowing. Even the minestrone soup was great.

Once again, Lido’s exceeded expectations with an appetizing last-minute family dinner. The pasta, pizza, and sandwiches were absolutely delicious, and every single family member enjoyed it. As always, the experience was delightful, and the Italian cuisine was truly yummy. Lido’s never fails to deliver both great food and wonderful memories!

Standard Italian restaurant with all the basics covered. Wonderful service, very friendly and attentive. The meal starts with cheese-it crackers, salami, and cheese. It was a good mix and tasted good. The salad with the house dressing was great. The pizzas are very good and a good value for the money. I like the thin chewy crust. The meat lasagna feeds two. Decent flavor and ample cheese but needed a bit more seasoning and maybe a bit more garlic. The garlic bread was lacking garlic flavor and was so-so on texture.

I went here with two of my friends, and we all loved it. The waitress was incredibly nice and the food was amazing. The atmosphere we found it to be very amusing. I really recommend this hidden gem of a place.

Been going here for over 50 years. It has been a bit since I visited last. The pizza as always is great. Absolutely love their sausage pizza. Server was friendly helped with our ordering options. She checked in regularly. Enjoyed looking at the little league pics from clear back in the 70s. Worth the trip to enjoy a lunch or dinner.
