This is a Family owned restaurant that provides excellent home cooked food and service! We strive to always do our best to satisfy all of our customers! We serve breakfast all day and we start serving lunch menu between 8 AM and 9 AM until 9 PM Monday through Saturday. Owned and operated by Bradley Scott.

This is a great place with a great atmosphere to sit do and enjoy good food that tastes like make at home. The regular menu prices seem a bit higher than other places I have visited, but they also have some daily specials that are more reasonable in price. Overall good food!

The biggest, tastiest chicken fried chicken sandwich that I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating and the fries were delicious also The servers were terrific. They got my order correct and they were polite as well. Lawton is a nice city and the people that were coming in as customers were also mannerly and pleasant. There were no loud people in there, no screaming brats. I saw that big trucks were parked out back. I bobtailed into the lot, but I’m not sure if the trucks with trailers accessed another road or not. There was another one back there, so I assume that’s where they came in. It was a great experience and I will definitely come in there again and told my husband about it also. I know that he will love this establishment as well

Wright’s Family Diner replaced the iconic Big Chef Diner a couple of years ago and this was the first time I have eaten at the revamped restaurant. Straight to the point, they have done Big Chef COMPLETE justice. They took the family friendly feel and slapped a brand new coat of paint on it, all without losing any of the charm. The establishment is clean and pristine and the staff is very pleasant. While I may have been a new face, they welcome regulars as you would old friends. Besides the staff being sweet and super attentive, the food was on point. I had the Chick Fried Chicken (see my photos) at the suggestion of my waitress and it was most definitely a leap worth taking. The salad was fresh and the CFC was nice and hot, covered in a plentiful helping of gravy. The establishment, the staff, and the food were all incredible. If you are looking for some family-friendly country cooking, do yourself a favor and don’t miss Wright’s Family Diner. Easily, 5 out of 5.

I called ahead of time to verify if this place served catfish (I was visiting from out-of-state) and talked to Baylee, who confirmed it for me. When I arrived, she just so happened to be my waitress! She did an outstanding job. She was very attentive, and her and her colleagues never allowed my glass to run empty.
The food itself was great, it was my first time ever having catfish, and it didn’t disappoint. They weren’t soggy, oily, nor cheap. I didn’t feel like eating chicken tenders from Dairy Queen, it had a certain homemade sophistication to it.

What an amazing diner hidden on the south end of Lawton. Right off the 44 for those heading North to OKC or South to wherever.
The food is typical diner food, but it was amazing. Had the sausage omelet and the ladies had the small breakfast. Everything between the hashbrowns,bacon, toast, biscuits and Gravy were all delicious. The hospitality of the servers was just as good as the food. There was never an issue getting more water or coffee. I’m a huge hot sauce kinda guy, and she brought me all 3 of the hot sauces that they carry plus their homemade salsa. Big win for Wright’s Family Diner today.
