Stopped in this morning for breakfast with my husband and toddler. We ordered a typical breakfast of hashbrowns, bacon and eggs and toast. There were no more than 5 or 6 tables with people….I estimated about 20 to 25 people max. We waited over an HOUR for our food. The food was cold and greasy. The waitress never checked our drinks during our long wait, never checked on us. As a former waitress (and many times the only waitress in the restaurant i worked at) I find this completely unacceptable. If the restaurant was full, it would be a bit more understandable, but it wasn’t. Three tables walked out while we were there due to lack of service and the ridiculous wait time. If you are passing through and want breakfast, go to Bayards in town. They are usually busy, for a reason, but you will be seated quickly, served promptly by an attentive and friendly waitress and the food comes out fast, hot and fresh. Big portions for a great price. Will not be returning to Perkins.

The service was noticeably slow. The employees involved were not overly concerned. One was considering leaving, and it was noted that there were three individuals working the evening shift. The food served there has consistently been of excellent quality, with no instances of poor dining experience.

One of the few restaurants that was open on thanksgiving evening, and even though they were very busy they still got my food out fast.
Plenty of parking here as well. My server was very friendly and I was seated very quick and checked out fast as well. Price was very fair especially for the holidays.

I went and tried the Classic Benedict it was delectable comes with your choice of hashbrowns or fried potatoes and choice of fruit or muffin. She brought the muffin out first and it was AMAZING!!

I really don’t know what’s so great about this restaurant. Why do people have to queue up to eat there? Sometimes there are only five customers, but it takes a very long time to prepare the food, almost 30 minutes.
