Service was friendly. Venue can be a bit loud as it’s a relatively small space for the amount of guests.
The only flaw was in a cocktail. My Manhattan arrived shaken, so it was far over-diluted. Stirring vs shaking makes a huge difference.
Overall I do recommend this spot. It has all the elements of a great restaurant.
Their recipes are not run of the mill. My pork dish was made with the most tender ham hock. The Bolognese was a delicious cream sauce. The apps were awesome as was the desserts. They have a very impressive extensive wine list, with a price point for everyone. We had a moderate priced wine and it was fantastic. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about their offerings. We loved the wine cellar feel of the building.
Paid garage and metered street parking.
Met my aunt and cousin here, we had a nice meal. Started with the sausage appetizer, it was good, one link cut lengthwise. Next time need to try the octopus!
I had Bob’s Bolognese, it was ok. On the creamy side, i was not expecting that. I would definitely try other pasta dishes.
A very cool place to have a meal.
Nice back bar area too, i could spend some time sitting there.
Service was great!
The bolognese is truly a standout and a must-try! It’s rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Whether it’s Restaurant Week or a regular night out, Sette Luna consistently delivers a great Italian dining experience. Highly recommend!
A good friend brought my wife and I here to celebrate my birthday on 1/31, so I didn’t want to complain in the moment since it was a gift. That said, the experience fell short.
I honestly don’t know what was colder—being outside or the food. From the soup to my main entrée, everything arrived lukewarm at best. I was also underwhelmed overall by the food quality.
Our server didn’t seem very engaged with our table or with the fact that we were there celebrating a birthday. I even mentioned that we wanted to take our time and enjoy the experience, yet the soup arrived in under 8 minutes—which wouldn’t be an issue if it had been hot. Unfortunately, it wasn’t… and neither was the entrée.
The night ended with us leaving and picking up cake at Wegmans, which says a lot.
I’d genuinely like to have a conversation with the owner—not to complain, but to better understand how this experience happened, because based on the reputation, I expected much more.
