This review is long over due, i have no clue why ive waited so long. Have been going here over 15 years. They do not serve meat in the food, but trust me when I say that this food is beyond satisfying if you know what to get. I recommend the chick pea dish or the dal, they change them up sometimes but always delicious. The food is ready and they serve it in Togo plates.

The market has a small selection for dairy and produce and a large collection of pantry goods and some cooking ware that I don’t see at the other nearest Indian market. The cafe on the side is a real gem though really good dosa and food prices if you’re on a budget. It’s all vegetarian keep in mind but it’s pretty good for a deli.

This is an extensive store selling everything you’d need for a home cooked Indian meal. I love the convenience of being able to drop in for items and get a hot meal, cold Lassi, or hot cup of chai at the same time. My only complaint is that it was obvious that all the tables hadn’t been wiped down and my husband’s order was wrong. Otherwise, wide variety of food and lots of parking in the back.

And plentiful of sweets and savories to choose. I recommend this place who love India food. Private Parking on back of the store.

INDIA (via Eat the World Los Angeles) – There are many locations of India Sweets & Spices around Los Angeles, the Inland Empire, and into Orange County, but not all of these are made equal. In the Valley, there are only two, but the Canoga Park location is by far the best and might challenge for best in the Southland as well. They seem to cook much of their food, which is all vegetarian, like you might find from family members if you are lucky enough to have Indian relatives.

Good selection of foods and spices. Came here for the take out. Decent food. All veggie dishes. Their tea is delicious highly recommend to try that along with their halwa. The staff were friendly and patient while we were figuring out what everyone wanted.
