The layout of the restaurant is very open. Restaurant is extremely clean and tidy. Waffles were a lot thicker than most Waffle Houses and the pecans and chocolate chip waffles were perfectly made. Grits were perfect consistency.

I’m actually in shock with the level of service that we received. Jill was extremely aggressive and rude. She came over twice and both times stormed off before we were able to order. She slammed the table and walked off on initial contact. When she came back, she apologized and started to take our order. Apparently I ordered wrong (asked for eggs over medium) and was told that the eggs were scrambled – she then stormed off again. At this point, we were so shocked/appalled by the treatment we got up and left. Jill clearly has anger management issues. We did nothing to deserve that type of treatment. Jill is a liability and should not be interacting with people. This was single-handedly the worst service we’ve ever experienced.

Horrible location would be a lot better if they redesign the entire parking lot.The parking is pathetic. The way it’s laid out is just, you know, it’s a nightmare.. The to go walk up.Windows are something that lets you know you’re in a bad part of town.. And the lack of seating inside for the location being downtown is shocking they still have the old seating.Which means if you’re overweight, don’t even try to sit at a booth. And they will insult you by putting a pull up chair in front of the booth, which makes it impossible for people to walk around you.And everybody stares at the overweight person.I will never understand why restaurants put in booths like that. Why not just have comfortable pullout chairs with good padding? That wayIt doesn’t matter if you’re short, tall, fat. I’ve been to several waffle.Houses like we all have been too. It’s the typical food.. But there is a lack of common sense there.. And even when they aren’t busy, you still have to wait around for your server.. And also to discover that they have joined the ridiculousness, of other breakfast, places, if you’re hungry or like most americans, you just eat more than two measly eggs be prepared to watch your bill, skyrocket. The fact that they charge three dollars and fifty cents for an individual egg.I might as well bring my own dozen with me.I can understand charging a 1.00 not 3.50 if a person wants to have four eggs, that means add seven dollars onto your bill. There comes a point where making money turns into robbing people that is something that they really need to change… And to stop putting real blueberries in the waffles and to put whatever type of cereal blueberries that you have in the waffles now is disgusting they don’t even taste like blueberries i’m actually nervous as to see what they’re made out of.. And last but not least, if you like your eggs, runny or soft, they don’t do that here.Even if you request it, why are the scrambled eggs always overdone.. But it’s a waffle house It is what it is but considering there’s a water burger directly next door and they’re open 24 hours even though they’re pricey for fast food, you’d still save money.. One thing’s for sure.I don’t like to eat fast food anymore because at the prices they are now I’d rather spend the 3 to 5 extra dollars and tip somebody and have way better quality food than fast food, poison at fifteen to seventeen dollars a value meal. But the thing that I don’t like about waffle house and denny’s now is that you either eat their tiny pathetic proportion or spend almost double just to get one or two extra eggs. The food quality is not that good for those prices.. Either way, i’ve had some good experiences at waffle houses.I’ve had some bad ones this one.I’d stay away from

Went into this waffle House to wait while my wife finished an event downtown. It was not at all busy has there were only two tables occupied and then my one chair at the bar. I ordered coffee and a piece of pecan pie warmed up on the grill. The coffee was good but the pecan pie was cold through and through. Yes they warmed it on the grill but apparently not long enough to heat anything but the bottom. I guess I could understand this if they were very busy but certainly not when they’re standing around with nothing to do.

Best comfort food when you are not feeling 100%. This location has a weird entrance so pay attention! I did not and totally broke the rules lol. This location was very clean and got a table right away. I loved how this place had multiple booths even across the restaurant.
We got the scrambled egg n cheese sandwich with scattered smothered hashbrowns. I would have to say the 1st waffle house I’ve been too that really gave me a sandwich. Most places there’s never any eggs!! We wanted to get the pecan waffle, but we were so stuffed!!
The staff was ehhh nothing over the top some places can get very entertaining!
Tip about any waffle house: it’s extremely cold so have a jacket if you are one of those people that gets very cold.

A great experience at Waffle House. Visited during the night time to stop the starving after party. Great service and good food, it has a lot of options for breakfast, lunch, brunch and so on. The waffles are really good and the price is not too high, just 4$ for a good meal with 2 eggs, grits/hash browns and toasts.
