Refreshingly good pizza.

It’s NY Style pizza that leaves you feeling happy and rejuvenated. It’s not a heavy cardboard-tasting pizza like you get at so many places. The dough tastes fresh, the sauce is light and flavorful, and the toppings are high quality (the pepperoni is delicious, not too spicy or fatty).

I’ve eaten here a dozen times since they opened. The service keeps getting better and better as they refine their customer-focused experience.

This time I had an issue with the online payment process. I mentioned it to the guy at the counter when picking up my pizzas. I left my number in case someone wanted to discuss it. I had a call from the owner within the hour. That really never happens. They addressed/resolved the issue and left me “WOW’d.”

The only thing that would make this a better NY Style Pizzaria is if it was in walking distance and open at 1:00 in the morning. Also, it’s way too clean for NY, but I eat there anyway.

We love going to Halo Pizzeria. We went to support our son’s elementary school’s Spirit Night and we had a great time. The Pepperoni rolls are my son’s favorite. We also got a meat lovers pizza, and I forgot to take a picture when it was still whole! If you’re looking for pizza and want to support a local small business, this is it!

Fantastic service and pizza. We went on a car show day which by itself is amazing. Everyone we spoke to told how good the pizza was so we decided to give it a try. Fantastic. We got the meat lovers. Highly recommend. Stop by and buy a pie.

If you’re looking for outstanding New York–style pizza in Frisco, Halo Pizzeria absolutely delivers. The ingredients taste fresh, the crust is spot-on—crispy yet pliable—and each slice comes out at the perfect temperature. It has that ideal fold: sturdy enough to hold together, but never too firm or doughy.

From the moment you walk in, the service is attentive and welcoming, with a genuine smile that sets the tone. It’s a great spot for families—kids can be kids without it feeling chaotic—and the mix of indoor seating, outdoor tables, and even grassy areas makes it easy to relax and enjoy your time.

Parking is simple, which is always a plus in Frisco, and the beer and wine selection pairs nicely with the food. Add in very reasonable prices for the quality you’re getting, and Halo Pizzeria becomes an easy five-star choice

The atmosphere was nice. The service was horrible, 5+ employees and no one comes by to check on you they huddle around the bar sit down and chat. The food was ok- the mozzarella sticks were good, the garlic knots didn’t have enough garlic and the pizza was bland for having 5+ meats in it. The ranch was horrible has a weird after taste.

Quite literally the worst pizza I have ever ate in my life. I kid you not, I threw away the pizza and just ordered a super hawaiian from papa john’s. See the pizzas for yourself. 1st photo is what is advertised, and 2nd is the joke of a pizza that was given to me. Would not recommend. Waste of money. Staff is friendly at least.

Halo Pizzeria is conveniently located near 380, West Ridge, and Hillcrest.

The place has a really ambient and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot to eat, drink, and catch a game on TV.

The customer service stood out — the staff was friendly and attentive throughout.

The food is decent, with a good variety of pizzas, starters, salads, and desserts to choose from.

They got ample parking space.A nice hangout spot with good service and atmosphere!

I had driven by this place for over a year and decided to try it today. I had the lunch special:2 generous slices of thin crust NY style pizza(cheese/pepperoni), caesar salad, and a drink for around $12. The service was friendly, prompt, efficient. You can eat inside or on the patio. The place is very clean. The food was really good. The caesar salad was one of the best I’ve had in awhile. Each leaf was lightly coated with dressing, nice crunchy croutons, and slices of parmesan cheese. The pizza was very tasty-right amount of cheese, not greasy. I looked at the menu and they offer a variety of pizza, pasta(lasagna-looking at you), appetizers, and deserts at reasonable prices dine in or carry out along with beer/wine. I’m really glad I stopped in today. I am now a fan and I will be back.

Updated 11/03:

We had another great visit today! After a last-minute change in plans, our group of 13 stopped by around 11 am, and Claire was incredibly accommodating!

We enjoyed a wonderful selection: cheese and heritage pizzas, mozzarella sticks, buffalo wings, and ended with a delicious Nutella pie. Every dish was exceptional, and the service made our experience even better. Can’t wait to return!

====================================

The pizza here was really flavorful! We tried the Cheese and Heritage pizzas, and both were delicious :5/5 – definitely worth coming back for.

We also ordered a few sides:

• Brussel sprouts: 4/5
• Garlic knots: 4/5 – A bit tough; we hoped it would be softer with flavors soaked in better.
• Wings: 3/5 – Too hard, not as soft or juicy as expected.

Overall, it was a good experience, especially the pizzas! However, the service could improve. The staff didn’t check in, and we had to go to them to get the bill and pay. It was around 9:20 PM, so maybe they were tired or wrapping up for the night.
