What a great place. Got a full slab of beef ribs. Just enough smoke to make them tasty. Great sauce. Not too sweet. The meat is very tender. A full slab is easily 2 or 3 meals for an average person. Two side dishes come with the dinner.

The lady at the counter was nice and the restaurant was clean with that being said, I hate to give poor reviews but I can not say anything good about the food we received. Our bill was almost $50 and I just got a hamburger and my husband got the $25.99 rib combo. The hamber was not fresh and was thin as a pancake with a huge bun. I guess I paid a lot for bread and my husband’s meal was not good at all, very fatty and just not tasty.
It was very disappointing because it was my husband’s birthday and our first time here. We seen a tok tok video but it was very deceiving. We knew it would be pricy but we thought the food would be worth it, it wasn’t. It was easy to see why no one was in the restaurant or placed an order the whole time we were there.

Not bad for $34. It’s brisket, pulled pork, 1/4 chicken, ribs, fries, and baked beans. I ordered in Uber right before closing. The food is really good, the ribs did taste like they were a little old but again it was an hour before closing. The fries were bomb, the food took like an hour and the fries were still good nice and crunchy.

Best beef ribs I’ve ever had!! Cooked to perfection and even the sides were delicious. Something on the menu for everyone. 10/10 recommend. Order at the counter and only short wait until your food is ready. Mixed drinks, beer and wine available as well. Everyone loved their food. Delicious

Not sure what happened to this place. Went here for years with my family and it was always amazing. I now work in the area but live in Orland which is 30 mins away with traffic by the time I get out of work. I picked up dinner from here and once I got home to eat, my full slab was burnt, barely any sauce, and barely any meat. Mind you a full slab dinner that only comes with one toast, one potatoe, and one corn! The burnt taste was so overbearing. I called and told them and they transferred me to the manager Jose. I told him how I have been coming for years and live in Orland and you can tell he did not care one bit. He basically told me he’s not sure what I want. I asked can you refund me? He said “No.” Then he offered to replace the order for me and then told me I only had a week to get it. So I go to get my replacement today and instead of apologizing he has the audacity to say “Nezt time this happens you need to bring it back.” I said “Um well I live in Orland” and he shrugged at me. Then proceeded to say next time you order, tell them you don’t want it burnt. He is extremely unprofessional and passive aggressive. They just lost a loyal customer. I actually appreciated them replacing my whole order but his attitude and comments were just rude and unprofessional. Obviously this restaurant has changed and the management and customer service is horrible. How about you say there won’t be a next time? How about you say sorry? Well there definitely won’t be a next time anymore lol.

Menu items are overly priced.And it’s sad that you have to order extra bread when they only give you one complimentary for a full tray. There isn’t a friendly vibe.It is quite fake actually. The cola is mixed with the root beer and it does not taste right. The ribs are usually burnt unless stated or requested otherwise. The ribs should be cut and they never are.

I tried the BBQ ribs at Gemato’s Wood Pit and they were fantastic. Tender, flavorful, and coated in a sauce that really complements the meat instead of overpowering it. I paired the ribs with the Greek potatoes, which were equally delicious and full of flavor. The service was friendly and attentive, making the whole visit even better.
