The hostess was absolutely amazing. He promptly greeted me and had me in a booth surrounded by the history of York PA. I’ve always been fascinated with the history and culture of the city. The server was gracious and attentive. She listened to every detail and executed correctly. I highly recommend this one it’s quiet and serves a diverse range of residents from young to old and anywhere in between. You are welcomed here and the food. The food is always delicious and…. I was not impressed at all with the facility. It was outdated and needed a serious upgrade. It was dark and the food bars areas have to be original.
My server was great. Very attentive to her service area. Kept my drink full and removed my plates when I was finished.
I have seen better salad bars at other restaurants. Wasn’t fully stocked and it appeared to not have proper temperatures. Cheese stuck together on the tongs. No black olives?
Price was comparable to what most all you eat salad bars are. Just didn’t take advantage of the other food bars as they did not fresh. Ice cream machine had a constant drip which led me to believe there was on issue with it.

Kudos to the Service we received. Staff was friendly and engaging. Waitress was attentive and extremely friendly and accommodating. Wish I would have gotten her name. It was like a breath of fresh air compared to the customer service at other places. Food was good. We each had a ribeye and I was delighted. I didn’t expect it to be as good as what I had envisioned. Salad bar area was nice and clean and everything was filled. I will go back.

I was NOT impressed with the food. 3 out of 4 in our party ordered sirloin. The cut was poor on all of them. The salad bar was disappointing. The tomatoes were mushy and eggs undercooked. The chicken noodle soup had a ton of onions, so much that it overpowered the soup. The desserts were also underwhelming. The only part of my entire meal I enjoyed was the sweet potato. I will say that our server was very nice. My family will not be back. We spent $130 plus tip. What a huge waste!!

We never have issue when coming here. Salad bar always stocked well and plenty of toppings for it. I like that there’s hot options too. For $9.99 before 40 weekdays you can’t beat it. Can add a burger/sandwich for just a tad more.

Stopped at Hoss’s because I was in the mood for a great salad. We were met by a cute hostess with a bright, beautiful smile (Izzy). She was so delightful and sat us quickly. Our server, Hannah, was also wonderful. Our meals arrived quickly and we’re exactly as we ordered. We will definitely be back!

My table partner ordered the ribeye steak, and it was way too fatty, and many pieces couldn’t be chewed. I ordered the mini burger and fries. The meal had very little taste, even after adding adding ketchup and salt. The salad bar was ok, but the salad looked a little old. And the bread tray fell apart on me. I’ve had much better experiences at other locations. Our meals were not worth the price.

Added the Willie burger to my salad bar only meal. Burger was a little burnt and dried out, most likely from over cooking. I had Willie burgers before that were really good. Somewhat of a disappointment this time. However, our server Alyssa was fantastic. I could not say enough about how sweet and caring she was.
