The Baja fish was very fresh with a large, generous piece of fish. The cornbread was one of the best I’ve ever had—buttery, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The smoked pork belly was excellent, juicy and not dry at all, with a rich smoky aroma.

Excellent BBQ with the signature platter. The brisket was very tender. Everything has a good amount of spices. Was just a bit much for two adults. Only complaint is that the given hot sauce was a bit watery, but there’s another sauces in bottles

Terlingua has an excellent selection of items on the menu. Everything was delicious and the service was friendly and informative. They had a special of pickled octopus deviled eggs and my goodness they were FANTASTIC! I also loved the brisket and corn bread. This is a must stop!

Delicious food and friendly staff! Terilingua serves Texas-style barbecue with a Mexican twist. They are known for their house-smoked meats and variety of sauces. Their decor is between modern and homestyle. Many warm colors.
Mom and I ordered off their happy hour menu. Staff was friendly and answered all of our questions. I ordered the Enchiladas. The enchiladas had chicken, chihuahua cheese, red chile sauce, crema & cilantro. The chicken was tender and I love that it had a little spicy kick to it! My mom ordered 2 sliders: pork and brisket. My mom never had sliders but she loved the presentation of them. Both meats were very tender. For happy hour options, they were both very filling.

A friend of mine recommended this place as the best BBQ in the area.
That is totally true. We had a great time. The BBQ plate was phenomenal. Meat was juicy and well-seasoned. The salad was fresh. Yhe pickle was delicious.
I would also recommend the fried grilled pork. It was topped with orange zest and served with lime. The pork ribs were caramelized with orange glaze, so good.

Boyfriend and I visited over the weekend from DC and this was truly one of our favorite meals my boyfriend cannot stop talking about the brisket tacos. Great service, Great food, and Great staff! I had a billing issue and Greg was totally awesome helping me out even though they were closed for renovation :’) can’t recommend this place enough to anybody!!

This should be 3.5 stars and it’s a hard review because the food was wonderful but the seating was not. We got there later in the evening with 11 people, and they were not put tables together, even though the same server served all of us and there was no one else in the outdoor seating area in which they seated us
The food was great. why I highly recommend the pork Carnitas tacos. They were absolutely delicious with crunchy edges. The brisket tacos were also very good and they were very generous with the amount of meat in the tacos. We also had the queso and guacamole and chips expensive, but I would say worth it Our server’s name was Wilson. He was wonderful.

Hands down the best cornbread I’ve ever had. This place was recommended to me, and it did not disappoint. Staff was great and friendly, service was fast and everything tasted great. My only gripe was the coleslaw was kind of bland.

Went to Terlngua to celebrate our mom’s birthday after seeing so many great recommendations—and they were absolutely right. Terlingua did not disappoint! The food was delicious. I had the brisket taco (yum!), our mom had the lime chicken taco which was also excellent, and my boyfriend had the brisket burger.
The prickly pear margarita was a fantastic way to start the meal! To top it all off, they surprised us with a piece of cake and a candle to celebrate Joyce’s birthday, which was such a thoughtful touch.
The food, service, and atmosphere were just perfect. Thank you for making this such a special day for the birthday girl!

We stopped into Terlingua while visiting Portland with friends and had a great experience on a cold, rainy day. The food and drinks were excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the next day to sit at the bar, where we met some great people and had another amazing time.
