We had the broasted chicken, really good, large pieces, a buttered roll, broasted wedged potatoes and soup, Navy Bean was great and so was the broccoli cheese. Grandson had the country fried steak dinner, with a baked potatoe and salad, he enjoyed it, said it was really good.

It was a nice atmosphere, you average diner. The pancakes were great, bacon a little too crispy for my taste but still good. It was a Friday morning and the service was great, they made sure to check me and my group often enough, so we never had a empty plate on the table or a empty glass of coffee for more than a minute. Went for a omelette and coffee. The omelette was OK, generously filled with meats and vegetables, but kind of lacked flavor or herbs and spices. I peppered mine heavily to compensate. The eggs were OK.
The server was friendly and kind and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortably unpretentious and a bit worn, like a good diner should be. I had higher hopes for the omelette though. It wasn’t bad. But it wasn’t great either.

We really enjoyed this place. Although it was packed, and almost every single parking spot was taken, our waitress and the entire staff treated us like we were the most important family in the restaurant. HIGHLY recommend this place. Great food and service. Great atmosphere.

I called in a carry out specifically from this restaurant because I had back surgery recently and wanted to utilize the drive thru. The employee said it’ll be ready in 10 minutes. I waited 15 minutes and pulled up to the drive thru. The employee told me that I was a DoorDash customer and couldn’t use the drive thru. I assured her I was not door dash. I showed her on my phone, at the window that I was a carry out. She told me that carry outs and DoorDash are the same and unable to utilize the drive thru. I’ve never been told this before and can’t understand why a carry out can’t get picked up in the drive thru. It’s unfortunate that this is a policy. After years of being a customer, I won’t be returning.

Greek salad was solid, dressing very good! The restaurant was very busy around 6:30pm on Tuesday night. Service was quick and on top of things. A lot of seating in the building so never had to worry about not having a spot. Overall a solid stop for dinner.

Mary was my server, she is very sweet, kind and knowledgeable of the menu. Go in and give her your tips. Delicious food. I ordered the meat omelette with pancakes and almost ate every bite. Large portion great price.
