Reviews
They truly know how to make their signature dish. The wings were nicely crispy, perfectly sized (not overly huge), and the Korean-inspired flavors were really satisfying. While they might not be the absolute best in town, they are definitely worth ordering and a great feature of this restaurant.
Some of their other menu items might not be “restaurant level” quality, but I don’t think that’s what you should expect here. For a quick, tasty lunch—especially if you’re craving excellent crispy Korean-style wings—this place delivers.
We had a good experience and would definitely go there again.
The server lady never shows up to ask if we needed anything , asked for my card without ever brining me the bill and lastly threw the pen when giving me my receipt.
Ate here before and service was trash as well but it feels these workers just don’t really want to be there. Weird environment but maybe it’s best you do takeout to avoid all the drama.
However, during my most recent visit (June 25), I noticed some changes in the service that were a bit disappointing. The new staff member at the entrance didn’t seem as welcoming or guest-friendly as we’ve experienced before. While I understand she may still be in training, I believe the responsibility falls more on her trainer or manager to ensure she’s well-supported in providing good customer service.
There were also some service-related issues:
• Our food arrived, but we had to ask for utensils and plates.
• When it came time to pay, the pen was left on the table without explanation, and we weren’t sure how to proceed with signing.
• A staff member working in both the kitchen and serving area seemed quite defensive when I politely asked if the air conditioning was working in the back. I simply mentioned that it felt cooler near the entrance, but instead of a calm explanation, I received a lengthy response about the weather, which felt unnecessary. I was smiling and speaking politely, and just hoped for a simple answer.
No extra place for the chicken bones.
In addition, even something as basic as steamed rice need to wait 30 minutes , which was surprising, so we skip this.
Please know that I’m not writing this to criticize or degrade the restaurant. I genuinely like this place, and these comments come from a place of wanting to see it maintain its quality—especially in terms of customer experience. For now, I may opt for takeaway instead of dining in, but I do look forward to continuing to support your business.
The food is amazing! Everything is so good; you need to try the zucchini fries!
The bonelss Chicken wings are unbelievable! All the sauces are delicious, especially the soy-garlic.
The staff is super friendly too.
10/10 would recommend this restaurant.
*Prices are a little high, but the value makes it worth it.
1. The Bulgogi fries were super salty, cold, and underdone. I picked up a order today( (I we’re two minutes away from this particular Bon Chon)
2.The street corn was extremely cold!
3. The potstickers were in the same box as my chicken who does tha? They are too distinct flavors! I would appreciate it if they would’ve bought my potstickers in the separate box or a bag
4. Bong channel is known for their Korean wings… A.k.a. flats and small drums. With the Seoul Platter, I was supposed to get four flats, and two drums a total of six mini wings, but why did they give me too big regular drumsticks which I’m not a fan of ….I only like mini drumsticks. So I didn’t get my six pieces of chicken, but I only got two flats, two mini drumsticks, and two huge drumsticks. And I wanted to split the favors, but they don’t offer that with the soul platter, which is fine. I had to delete this Google post because I wanted people to know if you are authentic around the country and you opening up restaurants it should be consistent and my order was not. I Over $37 with tax for this horrible experience with their food. Oh, and I forgot to mention, they are constantly out of the pickle radishes, which I love and the wasabi cucumber sauce! I had to leave this Google review because Bonchon need to know shame on you not being consistent throughout your chains and it will be a long time before I order again. I’m actually gonna try to find a different Bon Chon which I think they have one in Phoenix. If that one showed the same inconsistency, I will never eat bomb Chung in the state of Arizona again I will only eat it when I visit my daughter who still resides in Maryland because that was the best Bon Chon Restaurant that I have experienced
