This is a neat stand alone restaurant, a very nice atmosphere.
The host was nice, food looked great when it arrived. The omelette has a decent portion of thicker bacon inside but the bacon isn’t cooked, 1/2 of it was raw fat.
The turkey meat is processed meat…
The hash browns are browned nicely… with a thick clump of raw shredded potato inside. Make it a bit skinnier or mix it up a bit and fry longer. No seasonings.
The sourdough is cheap restaurant sourdough and enough butter for 1/2 of the slice.
I mentioned nicely to the waitress about the bacon not being cooked. Her response was not sincere.

Of all the places to get a delicious breakfast meal on the California Central Coast, this is the place to go!
Diane is the best, and she is so kind and patient while serving!
We promise that when you enter in and try whether it be hashbrowns, omelets, pancakes, or toast that you will leave with a great big smile on your face!

Excellent service! Our server was kind, funny and incredibly attentive. The atmosphere is what you would expect from an all American diner.
Our meals were decent, but nothing to be amazed about. My mother’s “tri tip” was tough and chewy. My Denver omelette was decent.

Great place, small local mom and pop restaurant. very good food courteous and quick service, large portions, fair prices a good value for your monery.
I had the country fried steak and eggs for breakfast so very delicious and it filled me up, after breakfast I road my motorcycle up PCH to Carmel and was still not hungry after that meal, now that’s what I call a good breakfast. I’m really glad I found this little restaurant I’llbe comingback again.
You gotta try this place.

Came on at 11am on a Thursday and very busy…very small wait. Food portions generous and we enjoyed two breakfast offerings. Staff very busy but very attentive. If you’re on some sort of diet…maybe not for you (maybe share a plate) but we polished off ours. The place has a vet vib and some adornments suggesting Joe was in the service and a number of veterans were seated…a big plus in my book. When leaving the waitress (Karen) despite being busy asked if she could bring to go coffee cups and topped them off at no charge). Their breakfast meats are tasty and perfectly cooked. Kudos to the entire team.

Pleasant surprise after the original spot we were going to was closed on Sundays. But we were very satisfied with our service and our meals. We will definitely come back again big servings hot food service with a smile. Lots of seating, cozy, friendly locals spot. I had a supreme Chilaquiles while my husband had the pancakes, eggs, bacon, and sausage. Do not let the pics fool you the sausage were jumbo size so good.

Loved this local breakfast while we stayed in Paso Robles. Was bustling with activity on a Sunday morning.. seems to be popular with the locals..from the conversations I believe the waiters were knowing some of the customers personally.. greeting them and chit chatting before taking orders..
Food was fresh and the portion size was generous!
While traveling I love to explore local eateries over others.. and this one hit the spot!

Absolutely loved Joe’s Place in Paso. It’s got a great history, they love us #MilitaryVeterans and active duty I’m sure. The way the restaurant architecture is you can tell it was something else turned in to the restaurant which I think gives it character. Destiny, our waitress, was sweet and just snarky enough to experience. Food was delicious, I chose the Lorraine which is spinach, bacon and Swiss cheese omelet. I chose Hash browns to go with it as well as sourdough toast! I’ll be back for sure!!! Oh and the pin up girls, their in the men’s restroom. Ladies was occupied and there were no men waiting soooo why not?! 10/10

Stopped in here for breakfast on our way out of town based on recommendations from a couple others we were traveling with. We almost didn’t stay because there were so many people waiting, but they sat people fairly quickly, so I think we waited maybe 15 minutes or so. The breakfasts our group got were very good. Normally, it’s hard to mess up breakfast food, but they do a really good job here. I ordered a basic eggs, sausage patty, and french toast breakfast and it was really good. Service was very quick, although as I mentioned before, the place is very busy. Obviously, there’s a reason for that. Great place to stop in for breakfast.
