I had dinner there. The food was tasty and well presented. I wish there was more to choose from. Soup and Slider Combo sounded great but who would combine chili with seafood salad slider? Service with refills was a little on the slow side but overall a great experience.

Pretty much what can be expected from a tourist trap area. Both the brisket sandwich and buffalo burger meat portions were about 1/4lb on average side buns. The onion rings were made from scratch and was the highlight IMO. The burger was somewhat dry due to how lean bison is (if it was real bison) and the fries were average at best. I’ve had bison many times and this wasn’t the best but I’ve had worse too. There was an up charge of $3 for the onion rings so I expected a larger portion but like I first said, it’s in the middle of a tourist trap area and higher prices are expected. If you’ve never had bison then the price is worth the experience. The staff was very friendly and the environment of old west antiques was great.

We had a great dining experience, thanks in no small part to Shannon, who gave us some excellent suggestions. We happily took her advice, and it paid off.

I went with the Philly Burger, and dare I say, it was one of the best Phillies I’ve ever had. Juicy, flavorful, and perfect smoked flavor, it really stood out. My brother tried the Shrimp Burger, which was equally impressive. The shrimp was cooked just right, and the pineapple paired with it added a fresh, slightly sweet balance that made each bite pop. My dad ordered the Bourbon Jam Burger, and it was another hit. The mix of sweet, savory, and smoky flavors hit a wide range of the palate in the best way.

All around, amazing food and even better service. We’ll definitely be back!

A bit a disappointment – outside main season, the menu is significantly shorter, and all the stuff we were looking forward to was not offered. Otherwise ok, if a bit pricey for the quality.

We got the Hot Beef and the Brisket Sandwich both were good. We didn’t get the barbecue sauce to go with the sandwich. We got coleslaw as a side and did not enjoy that. Our server was friendly. We really enjoyed the atmosphere. It has a fun vibe & we enjoyed reading the history. We also really enjoyed our beers, one being a peach beer & the other an amber ale.

We sat at the bar, bartender was friendly and quick to serve us. I watched the host staff deal with countless tourist who totally ignored the ‘wait to be seated’ signs with grace. I had the Buffalo burger and the dark beer. Cool atmosphere

Food was good and served quickly. A bit on the small size for portions, but sufficient. Bloody Mary was loaded with extra stuff and the Manhattan was sweet, but again a bit on the smaller portion size.
The Buffalo burger was tasty. The beef brisket was too messy to eat on the bun, but was ok as an open faced sandwich. The brisket seemed a bit on the light side, but all was very tasty.
Service was fast and efficient.
Nice old west atmosphere, and air conditioned after a long hot day 🙂

Walked in for some food and beer, awesome place
Walls are decorated with various trophies including a large bison head over the bar.

Bartender was nice and took care of me quickly. Burger and fries were out fast too.

Lots of seating inside and they have a patio out back. Cool bar, burger was good.

Decent, but wasn’t one of our top locations while we were in the Black hills. I had the brisket sandwich as a lettuce wrap as I am a Celiac, One person had the tacos, someone had a burger. While good, it wasn’t exceptional.
