Had supper here on 6.11.2025, and met a former coworker, her husband, her kids, and her in-laws. The company was amazing, the food was Delicious, and the service was outstanding.This is definitely a small hometown greasy spoon restaurant where people gather and you are considered family. The waitress that served our party was Spectacular and her recommendations for the blackberry cobbler was Awesome! The dessert was big enough to feed three people and it tasted Incredible. If I am ever in Lamar, Missouri again, I will definitely stop here for food. I Highly recommend this restaurant to anyone traveling through this area of Missouri.

I had the ribs and they were absolutely delicious — tender, juicy, and full of flavor. Easily some of the best I’ve had in a long time. On top of that, the service was excellent. Our server Brandi was kind, attentive, and made the whole experience even better. Definitely coming back. Highly recommend!

We met my son half-way to pick up our grandkids and bring them home for a week. This was a fantastic place for a meal together: great service, delicious food, and a fair number of locals who welcomed us warmly. Great experience – I’m sure we’ll be back!!!

I ordered food to go based on menu prices found pinned on Facebook and my total was almost double what was on the menu. When I asked about prices at checkout I was told the menu on Facebook isn’t the correct prices and the menu is from the previous owner. I asked them if it could be fixed for future customers to see correct prices and the girl told me that they’ve asked for it to be changed before but no one ever gets around to do it. I did some more looking when I got home to see if I could find a menu that matches what I paid and couldn’t. The other menus posted online are more than the menu on Facebook but still no where near what I paid for my food. The food is good but way to expensive for the amount that is served

I stopped in after 8 PM and got my meal to go even though I had time to eat it there. The young woman heard me say I had a room at the motel, so she asked if I needed utensils for the food. I like that kind of attention to detail and thoughtful service.

My husband and I were traveling South a different way than we usually go. We stayed at the hotel off this exit. The staff there told us about Tractor’s. Our server was wonderful, and we got to talk to her and other staff because it was late and most people had eaten and gone.
Our server recommended the Big Baler and Little Baler. So, even though it sounded like it would be a mistake, it wasn’t. Each offering, from the potato, meat, baked beans, and coleslaw kept their distinct flavor.
Our ticket for the two balers and two drinks was less than $20.00! We liked this restaurant so much, we came back home the same way. And, the dessert both times was wonderful!

I had the special of the day, smoked turkey dinner, green beans, dressing and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was very good, but I would suggest no instant potatoes, many restaurants do it but customers deserve better. Had bread pudding for dessert, very tasty.

My wife had the open hot beef sandwich, she said it was very good. I had the burnt ends, they didn’t come Sauced which is good. I wouldn’t say they had a whole lot of flavor but they were tender. The beans and the potato salad were legit. I had their classic barbecue sauce which was decent. My wife had the strawberry rhubarb pie she said it was good. I had the peach cobbler it was not so great to be honest.

This is an old gas station/convenient store turned full on restaurant and bar. Totally cool atmosphere, great staff, and really good food. From breakfast to dinner, you have your choice.
