first time coming here and everything was outstanding. My dad got the patty melt and I got the monte cristo (ham, turkey, swiss, and American and french toast deep fried). It was INSANE. So delicious and not oily at all, super light and crispy! (But insanely filling). We also tried the fried green tomatoes, the potato salad, and their seasoned fries. All delicious. Service was incredible and look at how much I have leftover to take home!! I have lunch for tomorrow!!

Today I went for the Dutch Baby! I got the Cinnamon bun one! Wow! It had crispy edges and it was very eggy and like a big crepe. I was pleasantly surprised. Even it the look was awesome! My boyfriend got a smashburger and was very happy with it as well. The service is great and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Very retro and a chill place to hang out.

We were doing some window shopping in Celebration and stopped in for lunch. It’s a super cute restaurant with throw back diner decor and in October, plenty of Disney-themed Halloween decorations. You can sit inside or outside, with a great view of the lake. Our lunch was really good and prepared fresh; seated at 11:30 on a weekday, there was no wait. Our waitress was friendly and efficient. Our fav- the fried green tomatoes! Bring your wallet. Fried fish w 2 sides,1 tea, appetizer, club sandwich with fries, water, tax and tip was $58. Nice occasional treat while in Celebration. They also serve breakfast dishes open to close. Bathroom Score: 5 stars. It was roomy, clean, and it’s hard to find bathrooms in Celebration.

If you want an all-American classic diner experience, this is it. The staff were all friendly, the music choice was great, and the environment was filled with the sounds of the griddle, background chatter, and typical diner ambience. My go-to whenever I come by this area! The food here is the best!

The service, the atmosphere, and the food were amazing! From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and seated immediately. Our server (Ryane) came over shortly after being seated and even though it was Thanksgiving Day, greeted us with a smile and was genuinely happy and attentive. The coffee was very good but then came the food. I had the breakfast burrito with a side of tots. The burrito had excellent flavor and all the ingredients combined just right with the flour tortilla. The tots were very good with a very nice crisp/crunch. My wife had the Celebration Benedict with a side of grits and she described the entire meal as “stupendous”. I myself am not a fan of grits but always try them when my wife orders them. These grits were…well let’s put it this way, if grits always tasted like these I would get the all the time! We would definitely go out of our way to visit this diner again.
I’ll end with this to sum up our experience. After the meal, my proclaimed (keep in mind this is on Thanksgiving Day)…”I don’t want to eat anything else for the rest of the day because I don’t want anything to compete with the flavors on my palate right now..”

What a jewel smack dab in the middle of all the action of downtown Celebration. This menu is filled with all the comfort foods you love from shrimp and grits to buffalo chicken dip. The portions are large so be prepared to take home leftovers. During our stay we enjoyed the scenery and atmosphere of outdoor dining each time. Such a cute family diner, even the locals even frequent this spot!

The food was great, the atmosphere was good.. we had a spot on patio, that accommodated us with a stroller. We were on priority at noon, and we had to check back in 30 minutes later, to finally get a seat. It was a wait and disappointed with that wait when the. Next couple were guaranteed 20 minutes or less. Anyways, food was fantastic and would recommend the food we had Dutch babies, cinnamon pancakes, impossible burger skillet.. would recommend over again.

The smash burger was delicious! Great flavor. The mac and cheese wasn’t traditional style and not my favorite so changed for their fries- those were amazing.

Downtown Diner Celebration Review – A Nostalgic 80s Vibe with Lakeside Views
If you’re ever in the Celebration area, Downtown Diner is definitely worth a stop. This retro spot channels a fun 80s vibe, funky decor, and an amazing lakeside view that makes for a relaxing and nostalgic experience.
I opted for the bagel sliders, home fries and a pancake. The bagel sliders and pancake was the delicious. My only slight issue was with the home fries. They were a bit overcooked, making them a little too crispy for my liking, but that didn’t take away from the overall meal.
A big shout-out to my server, Marlon-he was incredibly friendly, attentive, and offered excellent service, making the whole experience even better.
I will return.

Walked in the door and was immediately greeted by friendly staff and seated shortly thereafter. Our server was Hannah. She was super kind, professional, and friendly. Our food came out and you can tell it is fresh. The food tasted absolutely amazing. I highly recommend coming in if you’re visiting from out of town and crave a corner retro diner feel.
